RPF Sub Inspector Notification 2024 Released: Apply For 452 Posts

RPF SI Notification 2024 has been issued for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. It was issued on 14 April 2024. Railway Protection Force (RPF) has invited online applications for interested and eligible Male and Female candidates. RPF Sub Inspector applications can be submitted from 15 April to 14 May 2024. Those who want to submit their application can submit it by visiting the official website in the stipulated time or before the deadline i.e. 14 May 2024 to avoid technical issues at the last minute.

A total of 452 vacancies have been announced by the RPF for the Sub-Inspector (Executive). 

To qualify as an RPF Sub Inspector, candidates must undergo a three-tier recruitment process, comprising a Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). Admission to each stage of the recruitment process will be provisional, pending the candidate's fulfillment of all prescribed eligibility criteria.

RPF Sub Inspector 2024 Vacancy

A total of 452 vacancies have been announced by the Railway Protection Force for the post of Sub Inspector (Executive). The vacancies mentioned in the recruitment notification are subject to change and may increase, decrease, or even be reduced to zero in total or within specific communities/units as per the actual requirements of the concerned Railway Administration. RPF Sub Inspector Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Candidates must ensure they meet all prescribed eligibility criteria for the RPF Sub Inspector by the closing date of applications for RPF SI Recruitment 2024. Eligibility will be determined based on information provided in the online application by the candidates, and the RRB will not conduct detailed scrutiny. Therefore, candidacy will be considered provisional, contingent upon meeting basic eligibility requirements. Nationality

To apply for the RPF SI position, candidates should be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates should be between the ages of 20 and 28 years to apply for the RPF SI position as of 1 July 2024. Age relaxation is also extended to certain special categories. Check the table below to check the relaxation age:-

Educational Qualification

Applicants for the RPF SI position must possess the educational qualifications specified in the CEN from a recognized university as of the final application submission date (i.e., 14.05.2024). Candidates should be Graduated from a recognized university. Individuals awaiting the results of their final examination for the prescribed educational qualification are advised not to apply.

2. Register on the recruitment portal by entering your essential details such as name, contact information, and email address. Upon completion, you will receive a unique registration ID and password.
3. Now log in by using the provided registration ID and password. 
4. Proceed to fill out the application form with necessary details including personal information, educational qualifications, and any other relevant data.
5. You'll be prompted to upload scanned copies of required documents like your photograph, signature, and relevant certificates. Ensure that these documents adhere to specified size and format guidelines.
6. Pay the application fee as outlined in the recruitment notification. Payment options may include online methods such as debit/credit cards, net banking, or other available channels.
7. Review your completed application thoroughly to verify the accuracy and completeness of the provided information. Once satisfied, submit your application.
8. In the end, take a printout of the final page for your records.

To complete the application process, candidates must pay the required fees according to their categories. Only online fee payments via internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. Candidates have to pay any applicable service charges. The application fee can be paid exclusively through online mode, with no alternative payment methods available. RPF Sub Inspector 2024 Selection Process

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) selection process usually encompasses multiple stages aimed at recruiting eligible and competent candidates. The RPF SI Recruitment Process includes three following stages:

(i) Computer-Based Test:- The standard of RPF SI CBT will be Graduation level. The marks obtained in the CBT will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent stages of this recruitment process.

(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT):- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in CBT shall be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Document Verification (DV) to the extent of 10 times the number of vacancies in each category for Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen as per merit. (iii) Document Verification (DV):- Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, candidates shall be considered for Document Verification. The appointment of selected candidates is contingent upon their passing the mandatory Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and category certificates, character and antecedent verification by the local Administration, and successful completion of initial training.

RPF Sub Inspector Exam Pattern

RPF SI Examination Pattern 2024 has been detailed by the RPF through the RPF SI Notification 2024. Those who want to appear in the exam should check the examination pattern first to start their preparation. The examination pattern for the RPF SI position includes the following:

• The standard of examination is set at the Graduation level.
• The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes, with a total of 120 multiple-choice questions.
• Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and no marks will be awarded or deducted for questions left unattempted.
• Negative marking will be applied at the rate of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.
• Marks will be normalized for Computer Based Tests conducted in multiple shifts.
• The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is set at 35% for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates and 30% for SC & ST candidates.
