RPSC SI Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Pattern
The RPSC SI Physical Efficiency Test (PET) evaluates candidates through activities like running, long jump, and other activities with different criteria for male, female, and ex-servicemen candidates.
- For male candidates, the 100-meter race must be completed within 14 seconds for 40 marks, with marks decreasing up to zero beyond 16 seconds. In the long jump, clearing 15 feet earns 30 marks, while less than 13 feet gets none. The chinning-up test requires 7 heaves for full 30 marks, with proportionate marks for fewer attempts.
- For female candidates, a 100-meter race in 17 seconds secures 40 marks, while times beyond 19 seconds score zero. A 10-feet long jump earns maximum marks, and a shot put (4 kg) of 16 feet fetches 30 marks, with lower distances earning fewer points.
- For ex-servicemen, the race and long jump criteria are slightly relaxed; a 17-second 100-meter run and 13-feet long jump will get full marks, while 5 heaves in the chinning-up test grant 30 marks.
