RPSC SI Recruitment 2025 notification has been released by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on their official website on 17 July 2025. RPSC is conducting this recruitment drive to fill out a total of 1015 vacancies of Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander in the Rajasthan Police Department.

Rajasthan SI Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for the Rajasthan Sub Inspector Examination 2025, applicants must check the information regarding the age limits and educational requirements. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the commission, as those who do not meet the qualifications will be disqualified from consideration for the post.

Age Limit 

To be eligible for the RPSC Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander Exam 2025, candidates must be between 20 to 25 years of age as on 1st January 2026.

Age Relaxation 

The following upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per the Rajasthan government rules.

Educational Qualification

To be able to apply for this post, the candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and a basic understanding of Rajasthani culture.

Physical Fitness & Medical Standards

Candidates must be in sound mental and physical health, free from any defect that may interfere with performing their police duties. 

• Male candidates must have a minimum height of 168 cm with chest measurements of 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded)
• Female candidates should be at least 152 cm tall and weigh not less than 47.5 kg. 
• Relaxations in physical standards are applicable for SC/ST, Garhwali, and Gurkha candidates as per government norms (refer official notice PDF).

RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment Application Process 2025

Before applying online, candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification, application instructions, and other rules given in the official notification. It is mandatory to complete One Time Registration (OTR) through the SSO portal before filling out the RPSC Sub Inspector Application Form 2025. Candidates should fill out the OTR form carefully and ensure that all details are accurate, as once OTR is submitted, no modifications can be made to your name, father’s name, DOB, gender, exam details, or Aadhaar info. 

Candidates can complete their one-time registration and fill out the application form by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of RPSC and click on the Apply Now for Sub Inspector Exam 2025.

Step 2: You will be redirected to the SSO Portal. First-time users must register on the SSO Rajasthan portal using their email and mobile number to create a unique SSO ID.

Step 3: Now, log in with your SSO credentials and navigate to the "Recruitment" section. Select the Apply online link for “Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander 2025”.

Note: After applying for any post, if a candidate fails to appear in two recruitment exams in a financial year, their online application access will be blocked by the RPSC. To unblock the One Time Registration (OTR), they must pay a ₹750 fee.

Note: Male and Female candidates from reserved categories of other states will be treated as the General category and must pay ₹600 application fee.

Rajasthan Police SI Selection Process 2025

Rajasthan Police SI Selection Process 2025 is based on the following 3 stages - Written examination, Physical Efficiency Test and an Interview.

• Written Examination: Written examination is the first and most crucial stage of the selection process. It consists of two papers, General Hindi and General Knowledge & General Science, each carrying 200 marks and conducted for two hours. The exam is objective and held in offline (OMR-based) mode.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
  Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be shortlisted for the PET stage. This stage assesses the physical capabilities required for field duties in the police force. It includes running events and other physical tasks that must be completed within set time limits. The PET is qualifying in nature, but mandatory to proceed to the next round.
• Aptitude Test and Interview:
  The final stage is a personality assessment carrying 50 marks. Candidates are evaluated on their confidence, decision-making ability, communication skills, and overall suitability for a disciplined law enforcement role. The interview is conducted by a panel appointed by RPSC and contributes to the final merit list.

Rajasthan SI & Platoon Commander Written Exam Pattern 2025 

Candidates preparing for the SI Exam 2025 must be aware of the detailed Rajasthan Police SI and Platoon Commander Exam Pattern shared in the notification. 

• There will be 2 papers in this exam, i.e., General Hindi and General Knowledge & General Science and each paper consists of 100 MCQ-type questions, having 5 options (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
• Each question carries 2 marks and there will be a negative marking of one-third (⅓) mark for the wrong answer.

• Candidates must score at least 36% marks in each paper and 40% overall to qualify the written examination.
• SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of up to 5 marks in both individual papers and aggregate marks.
• The Commission will shortlist candidates up to 20 times the number of vacancies, based on written exam merit.

RPSC Sub Inspector Admit Card 2025

Rajasthan Sub Inspector Card 2025 will be issued by the RPSC on their official website approximately 10 days before the exam. Candidates appearing for the exam are required to download their Written Exam and PET Exam admit cards from the official website of RPSC, as they contain all the important information regarding the exam, including exam centre, roll number and timing of the exam. Without the RPSC Sub Inspector Admit Card 2025, candidates will not be able to enter the exam hall.

The RPSC Sub Inspector Answer Key 2025 will be released shortly after the written examination is conducted. It will be published on the official RPSC website in PDF format, allowing candidates to check their responses and calculate their tentative scores. In case of discrepancies, candidates will be given a limited time to raise objections (if any) against the provisional answers or questions before the final answer key is released. RPSC Sub Inspector Result 2025

RPSC Sub Inspector Result 2025 exam will be declared online after the completion of each stage, which includes the written test result, physical test result and final result after interview. RPSC Sub Inspector Salary 2025

Candidates selected to be appointed for the post of Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector or Platoon commander through RPSC will be appointed under Pay Level-11 of the Rajasthan Pay Matrix. The post carries a Grade Pay of ₹4200, as per the 7th Pay Commission.
