AIIMS NORCET 6 Notification 2024 Out: Check Eligibility Criteria

NORCET 6 Notification 2024 has been issued by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on 26 February 2024. AIIMS invites online applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-6, aiming to recruit qualified candidates for Nursing Officer positions. Candidates who want to apply for NORCET Recruitment can apply online through the official AIIMS website in the stipulated time which is from 26 February to 17 March 2024 upto 05:00 pm. 

Prospective candidates should check their eligibility independently before submitting their applications to prevent any disqualification post-selection. The online application portal will cease to accept submissions after 05:00 PM on 17 March 2024. Applications completed after this deadline will not be considered, and the candidature of such applicants will be rejected. NORCET 6 2024 Vacancy

The vacancies at participating Institutes/Hospitals will be announced before the application deadline. Following the resolution reached during the 4th meeting of CIB on 27 July 2019, 80% of the available seats are designated for female candidates, while the remaining 20% are allocated for male candidates in participating AIIMS. AIIMS NORCET 6 Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Candidates should check the NORCET 6 Eligibility Criteria first before they want to apply for the NORCET 6 Recruitment 2024. NORCET Eligibility Criteria typically consist of educational Qualification and age limit with some relaxation upper age limit for special categories. Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 30 years old to apply for NORCET 6. In case you belong to categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen or Government Employee then you are eligible for the relaxation in the upper age limit. Educational Qualification

Candidates who want to apply for NORCET 6 should have the following education qualifications:-

1. a. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by the Indian or State Nursing Council 

OR 

B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute/University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.

b. Should be registered as Nurses & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.

OR

2. a. Completion of a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Institute, Board, or Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.

b. Should be registered as Nurses & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.

c. Two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above, as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.

NORCET 6 Application Process

AIIMS NORCET 6 Applications can be submitted from 26 February to 17 March 2024 by visiting the official AIIMS website. After checking your eligibility, you can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for NORCET 6:-

• Visit the official website of the AIIMS.
• On the homepage, Click on the Recruitment Tab where you have to select the Nursing Officer option.  
• A link labeled “Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test(NORCET-6)” will appear on the screen which will redirect you to the application portal.
• Now select the New Registration tab and enter your credentials to register yourself.
• After completing the registration process login by using login credentials to fill out the NORCET Application Form.
• Upload the required documents and pay the application fee required for your categories. 
• Take a printout of the final page of the application form for your future reference.

Application Fees 

To complete the application process, candidates need to pay the application fee. The NORCET application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Without an application fee, Applications will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. The candidate can make the payment through CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD/NETBANKING. AIIMS NORCET 6 2024 Selection Process

AIIMS NORCET Selection Process 2024 consists of two written examinations and Document Verifications. As per the 2024 recruitment schedule, individuals applying for the AIIMS Nursing Officer position are required to take written tests i.e. Online (CBT) for Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Exam and Online (CBT) for Stage II: NORCET Mains. Successful candidates in the written test will be notified to undergo the document verification process.

NORCET Prelim 6 Exam Pattern

1. The NORCET Preliminary stage serves as a qualifying examination, allowing candidates who qualify to proceed to Stage II: NORCET Main. 
2. NORCET Preliminary results will not be utilized to determine the Merit/Rank for final selection. The examination duration is 90 minutes, consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks, with four alternatives for each question. 
3. For every incorrect answer, a deduction of 1/3 mark will be applied as a negative marking.
4. The question paper will be divided into 5 sections, each lasting 18 minutes, and containing 20 questions in each section.

NORCET Main 6 Exam Pattern

1. The exam lasts for 90 minutes, comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks, featuring four alternatives for each question. 
2. Each incorrect answer incurs a negative marking of 1/3 marks. 
3. The question paper is segmented into 5 sections, with each section lasting 18 minutes and containing 20 questions.

NORCET 6 2024 Admit Card

Candidates are instructed to download their NORCET Admit Card from the AIIMS, once it’s issued by the AIIMS. Admit cards will not be sent by post and physical copies are not available. It is advised that candidates bring the downloaded Admit Card from the AIIMS website to the Online (CBT) mode Examination and submit it to the Invigilator upon completion of the Examination. Failing to do so will result in the non-consideration of their candidature/performance in the Online (CBT) mode Examination. After the completion of AIIMS Nursing Officer Exam 2024, candidates will be able to check the NORCET Answer Key 2024 and raise their objections in the stipulated time frame by paying the required fee. AIIMS NORCET 6 Result 2024 

The AIIMS NORCET Result 2024 will be published by AIIMS following the successful conclusion of the AIIMS NORCET Exam 2024. It is important to note that NORCET Preliminary results will not influence the final Merit/Rank for selection. The Merit List of eligible candidates will be formulated based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and adherence to qualifying criteria in Stage II NORCET Mains exclusively. NORCET Cut-off Marks 2024

The AIIMS will release the AIIMS Nursing Officer 6 Cut-off Marks in PDF format simultaneously with the result announcement. The minimum qualifying marks in the NORCET Examination are set at 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC & ST candidates.

NORCET 6 2024 Salary

Upon successfully clearing the NORCET-6 Exam, the appointed candidates for Nursing Officer posts will be placed at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix, with a pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-. This position falls under Group B and is applicable for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutions based on the available vacancies in the respective Institutes.
