PM Modi Once Again The Most Popular Global Leader- Morning Consult

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again topped the list as the world's most popular leader with an approval rating of 76 per cent, according to a survey by US-based consultancy firm 'Morning Consult'.

It is noteworthy that in the earlier survey conducted by Morning Consult also, Prime Minister Modi had remained on top.

• In the 'Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker' report released by Morning Consult, 76 percent people approved the leadership of PM Modi, while 18 percent disliked it and 6 percent had no opinion.

Position of key leaders in the report:

• According to the Global Leader Approval Survey, PM Narendra Modi's approval rating is 12 per cent higher than that of Swiss President Alain Berset, who is ranked second in the list.
• PM Narendra Modi has remained at the top of this list continuously for the last few years.
• US President Joe Biden is seventh on the list with an approval rating of 40%, his highest since March.
• According to the ratings, PM Modi's rating is ahead of other leaders including Australian PM Anthony Albanese, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The survey surveyed 22 global leaders for ratings.
