Bharat Tex 2026: About, Key Details and Participants

Bharat Tex 2026 opens on 14th July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, and will run till 17th July. Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with support from the Ministry of Textiles, the event will be inaugurated by Union Textiles Minister Shri Giriraj Singh, alongside MoS Textiles Shri Pabitra Margherita and Textiles Secretary Smt. Neelam Shami Rao. Built on PM Modi's 5F Vision (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign), the expo unites India's entire textile value chain on one global platform.

World's Largest Global Textiles Expo Bharat Tex 2026: Key Details

1. The expo runs 14–17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, spread across 1.6 million sq. ft. of exhibition space. 
2. It will feature over 1,600 exhibitors and 20,000+ textile products spanning fiber, yarn, fabric, apparel, home textiles, and technical textiles, alongside clusters like Tirupur, Ichalkaranji, and Ahmedabad. 
3. Eight sponsor states, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, UP, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, are leading government participation, with nine more states and UTs, including Assam, Odisha, and J&K, exhibiting. 
4. Dedicated State Investor Connect Sessions will showcase investment opportunities and PM MITRA linkages, including a Master Developer Session for Gujarat and UP.

Who Will Be Participating in the Bharat Tex 2026 Event?

1. Over 7,000 buyers and 1.3 lakh trade visitors are expected, along with 350+ speakers from more than 20 countries. 
2. International exhibitors from 14 nations, including the US, UK, Japan, and Spain, will participate, alongside the UN and EU.
3.  Key sponsors include Trident, Vardhman Textiles, RSWM and Arvind. Ministerial delegations from New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, 

About Bharat Tex 2026 

1. Bharat Tex 2026 is a global platform for business, investment, sourcing, innovation, and policy dialogue across the textile value chain. 
2. It will host over 4,000 B2B meetings and 100+ B2G meetings, with more than 30 MoUs expected covering trade, investment, technology, and sustainability. 
3. The event also features 100+ knowledge sessions, including 39 panel discussions, 16 roundtables, and 37 masterclasses on trade, Industry 5.0, technical textiles, and global sourcing.
4.  The CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026 will recognise responsible business practices across seven focus areas, while a mobile app and Pre-Fair Directory power AI-assisted buyer-seller matchmaking and digital badge access. 
5. Cambodia and Brunei have shown interest, with bilateral sessions planned on India-US cotton, India-New Zealand wool, and India-UK FTA cooperation.
