UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam Date 2024 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website. Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024 will take place on 22 and 23 June 2024. Earlier on 8 March 2024 Geo-Scientist Pre Result was declared by the UPSC. Shortlisted candidates are now eligible to appear in the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024. Candidates should start their revision to improve their performance. UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam Schedule 2024
The UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam 2024 is scheduled for 22 and 23 June 2024. Candidates competing for posts as Geologists, Geophysicists/Scientists 'B' (Geophysics), and Chemists/Scientists 'B' (Chemical) must attend exams on both days. Candidates who apply for the Scientist 'B' (Hydrogeology) role will sit for Geology Paper I and Geology Paper II on 22 June and only HYDROGeology (Paper No.4) on 23 June 2024. Failure to attend any of these Papers will result in the rejection of the candidate's candidature, with the unattended portion of the written examination not being evaluated or counted for any purpose.

UPSC Geo-Scientist Main Exam Pattern 2024
To succeed in the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2024, it's crucial to grasp the examination's format. The Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination consists of three conventional type papers for each stream: Stream-I: Geologist, Stream-II: Geophysicist and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics), Stream-III: Chemist & Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical), and Stream-IV: Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology). These papers must be answered exclusively in English. The question papers will be provided only in English.
