UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024 Postponed For Prelims: Check New Date

UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024 has been postponed now. Earlier Uttar Pradesh Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Service (PCS) Examination 2024 was scheduled to take place on 27 October 2024. Now the Commission has issued a notice on 16 October 2024 to postpone the UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024. According to the notice the UP PCS Prelim Exam 2024 is scheduled to take place in the mid of December 2024.

UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

UPPSC PCS Exam Date 2024 is out and candidates should start their preparation now. Before appearing for the UP PCS Exam 2024, candidates should review the updated exam pattern. 

1. The Preliminary Examination, the first stage of the UPPSC exam, comprises two papers: Paper I (General Studies-I) and Paper II (General Studies-II or CSAT).
2. This exam is conducted offline, with candidates marking their answers on OMR sheets. 
3. The total marks for the exam are 400, with each paper carrying a maximum of 200 marks. 
4. The duration for each paper is 120 minutes (2 hours). 
5. Both papers feature objective-type, multiple-choice questions.
6. For each incorrect answer provided by a candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks allocated to that question will be deducted as a penalty.

UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2024

The UPPCS Admit Card is typically available one week before the exam. It will include your name, exam centre, photograph, and signature. To avoid any last-minute issues, it’s advisable to print multiple copies of the UPPCS Admit Card. Candidates must present the original and valid photo ID proof along with the UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2024 at the exam centre.
