RRB Group D Notification 2024

RRB Group D Notification is out now and 32,438 vacancies have been announced by the RRB. Before filling up the online application, candidates are advised to thoroughly read the entire RRB Group D Notification 2024. The examination will consist of a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). However, the Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either a single-stage or multi-stage mode. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.

RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria specified for the post(s) as of the closing date for submitting the online application, i.e., 22 February 2025. RRB Group D Notification contains the detailed eligibility criteria for the RRB Group D positions. Here we are detailing the RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria for your reference:-

Nationality

To apply for the RRB Group D position, a candidate must be an Indian or Nepal citizen, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India. 

Alternatively, the candidate may be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia,Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

However, candidates who are not Indian citizens must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

To apply for the RRB Group D positions, candidates must be between 18 to 36 years of age as of 1st January 2025. The relaxation in the upper age limit for various categories/communities is applicable, provided the candidate submits the required certificates. Educational Qualification

The required educational qualification for the RRB Group D positions is a 10th pass, ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT. Candidates awaiting the final results of the required educational qualifications, where the results will be declared after the closing date for online application submission, are not eligible to apply.
