UGC NET Answer Key 2026: Download June PDF & Raise Your Objections

UGC NET Answer Key 2026 is expected to be issued soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in July 2026. The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2026 was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 22 June to 30 June 2026. Candidates who have appeared in the UGC NET 2026 can check and download the UGC NET 2026 Answer Key by visiting the official website of the NTA. 

UGC NET 2026 Answer Key must be downloaded by the candidates as it will help them to estimate scores before the result declaration. NTA will also open the objection window for candidates through which you are allowed to raise your objections. The Final NET Answer Key will be prepared by the NTA after checking the objections raised by the candidates, and the result will be declared accordingly. NTA UGC NET Answer Key 2026 will be available on the NTA’s website. Follow these steps to download the answer key by visiting the official website of the NTA:-

1. Go to the official NTA UGC NET website.
2. On the homepage, locate the Latest News section and click on the link that says "Answer Key Challenge for examinations held from 23 June 2026 to 30 June 2026."
3. A login window will open. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security PIN displayed on the screen, then sign in.
4. After logging in, click "View Question Paper" to review the responses you submitted in the examination. To access the provisional answer key or raise objections, select "View / Challenge Answer Key."
5. The screen will display a list of Question IDs. The Correct Option(s) column contains the answers released by NTA. Please note that any question marked as Dropped is not open for challenge.
6. To dispute an answer, select the checkbox corresponding to the Option ID you believe is correct.
7. After making your selections, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Your Claims."
8. A summary of your challenged questions will appear. If you have supporting evidence, upload it by clicking "Choose File." Ensure that all supporting documents are merged into a single PDF before uploading.
9. Next, click "Save Your Claims and Pay Fee." If you need to make any changes, use the "Modify Your Claims" option before proceeding.
10. Click "Pay Fee" and complete the payment using your preferred method, such as Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Note: Your answer key challenge will be considered valid only after the prescribed fee has been paid successfully.

How to Raise an Objection on UGC NET Answer Key 2026 

UGC NET June Answer Key 2026 Objection Link will be activated soon once the provisional UGC NET Answer Key is issued. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key may submit objections within the prescribed deadline by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question challenged. The objection fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Only objections submitted successfully along with the required fee will be considered by the authorities.

What's Next After the Answer Key? 

UGC NET Result 2026 will soon be declared by the NTA after evaluating the UGC NET 2026 June Answer Key objections. Candidates who meet the UGC NET qualifying criteria become eligible for Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). For Assistant Professor, only the top 6% of candidates are declared qualified. Candidates seeking eligibility for both JRF and Assistant Professor must secure at least 40% aggregate marks (UR) or 35% aggregate marks (reserved categories) in both papers. The final merit is prepared based on the combined performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, subject to the available qualifying slots, while JRF eligibility is determined from candidates who opted for "JRF and Assistant Professor" in their application.
