The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026 on its official website, ssc.gov.in, on 17 August 2026. The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 Tier-II was conducted on 10 April 2026 for candidates appearing for the next stage of the SSC CHSL recruitment process. 

The CHSL Result for Tier 2 has been released as the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA), under which 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended for the notified vacancies. SSC CHSL Tier 2 Cut-Off Marks 2026

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Cut Off 2026 has been released by the Commission along with the declaration of the result. The SSC CHSL 2025 Tier-II cut-off is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the relevant sections of the Tier-II examination. The highest UR cut-off was 322 marks for Post Code L13 (NITI Aayog), while the lowest UR cut-off was 294 marks for Post Code L16 (Border Roads Organisation).

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026: Merit and Selection Criteria 

The CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026 has been prepared as per the following criteria:

• SSC CHSL Tier-II Section-I: This section includes Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning & General Intelligence. The marks obtained are considered for merit.
• SSC CHSL Tier-II Section-II: This section includes English Language & Comprehension and General Awareness. The marks obtained are considered for merit.
• Computer Knowledge Module: Candidates must qualify in the Computer Knowledge Module as per the prescribed qualifying criteria.
• Skill Test/Typing Test: Candidates applying for posts requiring a Skill Test or Typing Test must qualify in the respective test.

Next Stage After SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026

After the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2026 is declared, candidates who qualify as per the prescribed criteria will proceed to the next stages of the recruitment process. The next stages of the SSC CHSL recruitment process are as follows: 

1. Option-cum-Preference: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit their preferences for the posts and departments within the prescribed time.
2. First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA): SSC will carry out the first round of tentative allocation based on merit, post preference, category, vacancies, and applicable rules.
3. Document Verification: Candidates allotted posts will undergo document verification and other formalities as required by the concerned department.
4. Final Allocation and Appointment: After completion of the required formalities, the final allocation and appointment will be carried out by the concerned department as per the applicable rules.
