RSSB LDC Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates are advised to check the RSMSSB LDC and Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026 before applying for the RSMSSB 2026 Jr. Assistant Recruitment. Nationality

To be eligible for the RSMSSB Clerk Grade 2 and Junior Assistant Recruitment 2026, candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

(a) Be a citizen of India, or

(b) Be a subject of Nepal, or

(c) Be a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) Be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962, for permanent settlement in India, or

(e) Be a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanzania and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia, and has permanently settled in India. However, these candidates must have legally transferred their residence to India.

Note: Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) are required to submit the appropriate certificate of eligibility issued by the Home and Justice Department of the Government of India.

Age Limit 

Candidates belonging to the General category must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old to apply online for the RSSB Junior Assistant and Lower Division Clerk Recruitment 2026, calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Relaxation Age

Reserved categories will benefit from upper-age relaxation following government regulations. The specific age relaxations for each category are detailed in the table below:

Educational Qualification

To apply for the RSMSSB Junior Accountant and Grade 2 Clerk positions, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

1. Completion of Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination.

AND

Attainment of an "O" or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under the control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India.

OR

Successful completion of the Certificate Course on Computer Concept by NIELIT, New Delhi.

OR

Possession of a certificate in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/ Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) from a program organized under the National/State Council or Vocational Training Scheme.

OR

Holding a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a university established by law in India or from an institution recognized by the Government.

OR

Obtaining a Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the country, with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects.

OR

Completion of a Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government.

OR

Successful completion of the Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, under the control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

OR

Possession of any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government.

2. Proficiency in writing Hindi in Devanagari Script and familiarity with the cultural aspects of Rajasthan are also required.

1. Access the official online portal of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB).
2. On the homepage, click on the Apply Online tab, which will redirect you to the SSO portal. 
3. Begin by selecting the “Registration” option and entering your basic information, such as an active email address and mobile number. (Applicants who have already registered can skip this step.)
4. Log in to the portal using the credentials generated at the time of registration.
5. Fill out the application form carefully by entering your personal, communication, and educational details.
6. Upload the necessary documents as per the prescribed size and format guidelines.
7. Submit the prescribed RSSB LDC Application Fee online as per the category you belong to.
8. After submission, download the RSSB Application Form 2026 and keep a printed copy safely for future use.

The selection process for RSMSSB Junior Assistant 2026 involves two phases: Phase 1 consists of a written test, and the second phase includes a typing test. Phase 1 will be conducted in an objective type question format, while the typing test will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.

RSMSSB Clerk/ Junior Assistant Answer Key 2026

After the successful completion of the RSMSSB Junior Assistant Exam 2026, the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) will publish the Answer Key for the Jr. Assistant Exam. The salary for RSMSSB Clerk and Junior Assistant positions is disclosed in the Rajasthan LDC/ Jr. Assistant Notification 2026. As per the Seventh Pay Commission guidelines established by the State Government, the pay scale for Clerk Grade-II/Junior Assistant is set at Pay Matrix Level-05. During the probationary period, a fixed monthly remuneration will be disbursed in accordance with the directives of the State Government.
