RRB NTPC Short Notification 2025 has been released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on 29 September 2025 for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) - Graduate Level (CEN 06/2025) & RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level (CEN 07/2025). 3. A subject of Bhutan.

5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) and Vietnam, to settle in India permanently.

Note:- For candidates falling under categories 2, 3, 4, and 5, an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India is required. While such candidates may be allowed to take the examination, an offer of appointment will be made only after this eligibility certificate is obtained.

RRB NTPC Application Process 2025

RRB NTPC Application Window is open now and candidates can fill out their RRB NTPC Application Form by visiting the official website of the RRB. The RRB NTPC Notification 2025 provides a clear procedure for applying online. Here’s a step-by-step guide to assist you with the RRB NTPC Application Process:

1. Visit the Official Website of the RRB. 
2. Click on “Apply” and then select “Create Account” at the top of the homepage.
3. If you have an existing account, log in with your Username and Password. If you are a new user, enter your personal details as required.
4. After submitting your initial details, you will receive OTPs on your registered mobile number and email. Enter these OTPs to receive your Registration Number, which will be sent to your email and mobile.
5. Log in using the “Candidate Login” button on the homepage with your Registration Number and password.
6. Enter information about your educational qualifications, community (UR/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/EWS), gender, religion, ex-serviceman status, PwBD status, minority status, economically backward class, and any applicable age relaxation.
7. After completing Part I, proceed to the payment page and select your preferred payment method.
8. Specify your preferences for posts and languages.
9. Upload your photograph and signature. Ensure the photo is in JPG/JPEG format, scanned at 100 DPI with dimensions of 35mm x 45mm or 320 x 240 pixels. The signature should be 50mm x 20mm or 140 x 60 pixels.
10. Review your application, confirm the declaration, and submit your RRB NTPC Application Form 2025 before the deadline.

Application Fees 

To complete your RRB NTPC Application Form 2025, make sure you have submitted the application fee according to your category as mentioned in the RRB NTPC Notification. The application fee must be paid online using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. All applicable service charges are the responsibility of the candidate. Payment is only accepted through these online methods; alternative payment options are not available.

RRB NTPC 2025 Selection Process

RRB NTPC Selection Process has been through the RRB NTPC Notification 2024. Those who want to appear in the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 will go through the below-mentioned selection process:-

1st Computer Based Test

The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be common for all RRB NTPC positions. This screening test will adhere to the educational standards required for the posts. The normalized scores from the 1st Stage CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT based on their merit.

2nd Computer Based Test

Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks from the 1st Stage CBT. The total number of candidates selected will be 15 times the number of vacancies in each community category as advertised by the RRB, according to their merit in the 1st Stage CBT. However, the Railways reserve the right to adjust this number up or down, either overall or for specific categories, to ensure there are sufficient candidates for all the notified positions.

Typing Test 

Typing Test will be conducted for the various posts such as Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist,  Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist. According to the RRB NTPC Notification 2025, the details for the RRB NTPC Typing Test is as follows:-

• The Typing Skill Test (TST) will be conducted as a qualifying test (marks will not affect final merit).
• Candidates will be called in a ratio of eight times the number of vacancies for each community.
• Typing Speed Requirement in English is 30 words per minute and in Hindi is 25 WPM.
• Must be typed on a personal computer and no editing tools or spell check allowed.
• For Hindi Typing Kruti Dev and Mangal fonts will be provided for the test.

Document Verification

Candidates will be called for Document Verification based on their performance in the examination. The number of candidates selected for this stage will match the number of vacancies, and they will be chosen according to their merit and preferences.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2025

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern has been detailed in the RRB NTPC Notification 2025. Candidates must be familiar with the RRB NTPC 2025 Exam Pattern before appearing for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025. In this section, we are providing the RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for both prelims and mains:-

1. The exams will consist of objective-type questions with multiple choices. 
2. CBT 1 will have 100 questions, while CBT 2 will feature 120 questions. 
3. The duration for the exams will be 90 minutes, with 120 minutes allowed for eligible PwBD candidates who use a scribe. 
4. Each question is worth 1 mark, and there will be a negative marking, with 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

RRB NTPC 2025 Exam Cut-off

RRB NTPC 2025 Salary

RRB NTPC posts are classified into two categories: Graduate Posts and Undergraduate Posts. Each category includes various positions with their initial monthly salaries set according to the 7th CPC. Along with these salaries, employees in both Graduate and Undergraduate posts are entitled to several allowances and perks. These include Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), a Pension Scheme, and Medical Benefits.
