RRB NTPC UG Typing Language Selection for CBTST 2026

According to the instructions given in the official notice, all shortlisted candidates must choose their typing language (English or Hindi) through the RRB portal before 03 February 2026. If a candidate does not select the language on time, the system will automatically assign a default typing language as English, which cannot be changed later. So it is important to complete this step carefully.

Candidates belonging to the PwBD category who are eligible for exemption from the typing test must upload a valid Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate on the RRB grievance or helpdesk portal before the last date. Steps to Select Typing Language for RRB NTPC UG CBTST 2026

Candidates can choose their typing language for the CBTST through the official portal. Follow the steps given below to complete the language selection process:

Step 1: Click on the official language selection link given below.

Step 2: Log in using your registered credentials - Registration Number and Date of Birth.

Step 3: On the dashboard, click on the “Language for CBTST” tab.

Step 4: Click on the Plus (+) icon to expand the available options.

Step 5: Select your preferred Typing Language for the NTPC CBTST (English or Hindi).

RRB will release the exam city and date intimation slip around 10 days before the CBTST. This will help candidates know their allotted exam city in advance. • PwBD candidates who are eligible for exemption from the typing test must upload a valid Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate issued by the authorized medical authority through the RRB grievance/helpdesk portal between 29 January and 11 February 2026 (up to 7:00 PM).
• Aadhaar-based biometric verification will be done at the NTPC UG Skill Test exam centre, so candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card on the day of the CBTST.
