Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded the inaugural 'National Creator Awards' for 2024 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on March 8th. In the programme organized at Bharat Mandapam, storyteller Jaya Kishori was given the award for the best writer for social change.

National Creators Award 2024:
- The National Creators Awards is an effort to recognize excellence and impact in various sectors of society. Mainly the following were included under this:
- Tell a Story
- Advocating Social Change
- Environmental Sustainability
- Education and Gaming
- This has been started to bring positive change. This will also encourage the use of creativity.
- Public participation was also seen for the National Creators Award. The awards received over 1,50,000 nominations across 20 categories. Nearly 1 million votes were cast during the voting phase for digital creators across various award categories.
- Consequently, 23 winners were selected, including three international creators.
