29th National e-Governance Conference Begins in Jaipur

The 29th National e-Governance Conference kicked off in Jaipur at the Rajasthan International Centre, running over two days as a joint effort by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and the Rajasthan Government. Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the event alongside an exhibition showcasing the state's digital governance innovations, with Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh also attending.

29th National e-Governance Conference Theme and Agenda

This year's theme, "Viksit Bharat 2047: AI-Enabled, Data-Driven, and Secure Digital Governance,” sets the tone for what's a packed two-day program.

1. Around 2,700 delegates have gathered, including representatives from 1,000-plus startups and over 400 academic institutions. 
2. Day one features three plenary sessions and six breakout sessions covering artificial intelligence, deep tech, quantum computing, voice-first solutions, and secure digital infrastructure. 
3. Day two wraps up with three more plenary sessions before the National e-Governance Awards ceremony closes out the conference.

17 projects across 7 categories have been selected for the National Awards for e-Governance 2026 — 10 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards, and 1 Jury Award.
