Virat Kohli became the first player to hit 800 fours in IPL history

Virat Kohli has become the first batsman in IPL history to reach 800 boundaries. He achieved this feat while playing against Gujarat Titans at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
In addition, Kohli has also joined an exclusive club by becoming only the third batsman in IPL history to hit 300 sixes. His total number of sixes has now reached 303. Only Chris Gayle (357) and Rohit Sharma (310) are ahead of him on this list.
Virat Kohli achieved this historic feat while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026. He also currently holds the top spot for the most runs scored in IPL history.

Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli has created history by becoming the first player to score 9000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He achieved this milestone during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals.
Kohli reached this historic milestone in his 275th IPL match; he needed only 11 runs before the start of the match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
He completed the feat with a single in the sixth over; he faced a total of 6732 balls to reach this historic figure.
