The Paralympics Committee of India unveiled the logo and mascot of the 12th edition of the World Para Athletics Championships 2025 at a function in New Delhi. India will host the World Para Athletics Championships for the first time at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi from 27 September to 5 October 2025.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was the chief guest of the function, which was attended by other dignitaries, including Paul Fitzerlad, the Head of World Para Athletics, Devendra Jhajharia, the President of the Paralympic Committee of India, and Kangana Ranaut, the event's brand ambassador.

- The Mascot of the Game is called Viraaj, a young elephant with a blade prosthesis.
- The logo reflects India’s rich heritage, the spirit of para athletics, and the vibrancy of New Delhi as host city.
About the 12th World Para Athletics Championship 2025
For the first time, India will host the World Para Athletics Championships at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi from 27 September to 5 October 2025.
- It will be the 12th edition of the Games and the largest Paralympic sports event in India.
- New Delhi is the fourth Asian city to host the World Para Athletics Championships after Doha (Qatar) in 2015, Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in 2019 and Kobe (Japan) in 2024.
- The 12th World Para Atheletics Championships 2025 will feature 186 medal events, 15 more than at the 2024 Kobe event. Of these, 101 are men's events, 84 are women's events, and one is a mixed event.
