According to Forbes’ annual World’s Billionaires list 2025, India has the third highest number of billionaires in the world, with 205 billionaires. The world's largest economy, the United States of America, retained the status of having the largest number of billionaires on Earth, with 902, and China (including Hong Kong) in the second spot with 516 billionaires.
Elon Musk of the United States remained the richest person in the world, while Mukesh Ambani was the richest Indian and the 18th richest person in the world.
