The 12th Global Space Exploration Conference 2025 was inaugurated in New Delhi on 7th May 2025.
The three-day Conference will be held in New Delhi from 7th to 9th May 2025. The Conference was addressed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on 7th May through videoconferencing.
The Conference brings together global leaders in space exploration to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and future human space exploration.
The first Global Space Exploration Conference was held in 2010 in Beijing, China.
The last edition of the Global Space Exploration Conference was held in Oslo, Norway in May 2023.
The 12th Global Space Exploration Conference 2025 has been organised by the International Aeronautical Federation. It is being hosted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) with the Indian Astronautical Society of India as the co-host.
Eminent space scientists and administrators, including ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan, Josef Aschbacher of the European Space Agency, and Kazuyoshi Kawasaki of the Japanese Space Agency JAXA, participated in the 12th Global Space Exploration Conference.
The International Aeronautical Federation was established in 1951.
It is the world’s leading space advocacy body.
