UPSC CDS (1) 2024 Exam Pattern

The CDS exam pattern serves as a crucial guide for candidates, providing essential insights into the format and structure of the exam. Notably, the UPSC CDS Exam pattern varies for each military academy. While the number of sections may differ slightly for the Officers' Training Academy, both papers consist of objective-type questions. Additionally, apart from the English language section, questions are presented in a bilingual format. All subjects feature only objective-type questions. General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics question papers (Test Booklets) are bilingual, and presented in both Hindi and English. It's important to note that there is a negative marking scheme, deducting ⅓ marks for each incorrect answer.
