RPSC ASO Notification 2024-25 was released by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on 05 August 2024, and the online applications were invited from eligible candidates by 15 September 2024 through their official website. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has now re-opened the application form by re-releasing an updated notification on 28 July 2025 for Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) Recruitment 2024. Earlier, the commission had announced 43 vacancies, but now the total number of vacancies has been increased to 64 under this recruitment drive.
Through this recruitment drive, RPSC aims to recruit eligible candidates to fill ASO posts under the Economics and Statistics Department of the state, where statistical analysis, data compilation, and reporting will be their core functions. Candidates having an educational qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics and aged between 18-40 years are eligible to apply for this post.
The RPSC ASO Online Application window 2025 is reopened, and candidates can apply between 30 July and 13 August 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications only through the official RPSC portal. Before applying for the Rajasthan Assistant Statistical Officer Examination 2024-25, candidates must check the details about eligibility criteria, including the age limits and educational requirements. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the commission, as those who do not meet the qualifications will be disqualified from consideration for the post.
To be eligible for the RPSC ASO Exam 2024, candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age as on 1st January 2026.

Before applying online for the ASO post, candidates should carefully check the official notification, read all instructions, and the application guidelines. It is now mandatory to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Rajasthan SSO portal before proceeding to fill out the RPSC Assistant Statistical Officer Application Form 2024. While submitting the OTR form, candidates must make sure that the entered information is correct, as no corrections will be permitted later for personal details such as name, father's name, date of birth, gender, Aadhaar number, or exam-related information.
To fill out the one-time registration form and submit the RPSC ASO application form, follow the simple steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of RPSC and search for the “Apply Now for Asst. Statistical Officer Exam 2024” link under the Important Links section on the homepage.
Step 2: This link will redirect you to the Rajasthan SSO (Single Sign-On) portal. If you're registering for the first time, create your SSO ID using a valid email address and mobile number.
Step 3: Once your SSO ID is created, sign in using your login credentials, navigate to the "Recruitment" tab and click on the apply online link for “Asst. Statistical Officer (Eco. and Stat. Dept.) 2024”.
Step 4: Carefully fill out the application form with accurate information.
Step 5: Upload your live photo, scanned signature as per the guidelines and required format, along with your left-hand thumb impression, and then submit the application form.
Step 6: Pay the ASO Application Fees according to your category, as mentioned in the notification.
Step 7: Once the form is submitted, download the PDF of the final submission and keep a printout of application form along with the fee receipt for future use.
Important: As per the latest guidelines of the commission, if a candidate applies for any recruitment examination but does not appear in two recruitment exams conducted in a single financial year, their access to future online applications will be restricted. And to unlock their One Time Registration (OTR), a reactivation fee of ₹750 must be paid by them.

Note: All candidates belonging to reserved categories from states other than Rajasthan will be considered under the General category and are required to pay an application fee of ₹600.

RPSC ASO Card 2024 will be issued by the RPSC on their official website approximately 10 days before the exam. Candidates appearing for the exam are required to download their Written Exam and PET Exam admit cards from the official website of RPSC, as they contain all the important information regarding the exam, including exam centre, roll number and timing of the exam. Without the RPSC ASO Competitive Examination Admit Card 2024, candidates will not be able to enter the exam hall.
You can download your admit card PDF by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the commission at (rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in).
Step 2: Go to the “Important Links” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the link that says “Admit Card Link for ASO Competitive Written Examination 2024.”
Step 4: You’ll be redirected to a login page to download your admit card. Enter your registration number, password and date of birth.
Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button, and your ASO Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the PDF and print your RPSC ASO exam Admit Card.
The RPSC ASO Answer Key 2024 will be made available soon after the written exam is held. Candidates will be able to download it in PDF format from the official RPSC website to match their responses and estimate their expected scores. If any candidate finds errors or discrepancies in the provisional answer key, they will be allowed to submit objections within the specified time frame. Once released officially, the answer key can also be accessed and downloaded from this page.
The RPSC ASO Result 2024 will be declared online after the successful completion of the written examination. It will be released in PDF format on the official RPSC website and will include the roll numbers or names of candidates who have been shortlisted. Candidates can download the RPSC ASO Result 2024 by carefully following the steps mentioned on this page.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the RPSC.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Candidate Information” tab from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Find and click on the link titled “COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT STATISTICAL OFFICER DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS & STATISTICS Result 2025” under the result section.
Step 4: The ASO result list will open in a PDF format. Use the search option (Ctrl+F) to find your name or roll number in the shortlisted candidates list.
Step 5: Save and take a printout of the Rajasthan ASO Result PDF for future use.
Candidates selected to be appointed for the post of Rajasthan Assistant Statistical Officer through RPSC will be appointed under Pay Level-11 of the Rajasthan Pay Matrix. The post comes under the Grade Pay of ₹4200, as per the 7th Pay Commission. Along with the basic pay, successful candidates will be entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per state government rules.
As we know that RPSC has already announced the exam date of ASO 2024, which is scheduled for 12 October 2025.
