VP to inaugurate Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman, For 75th Republic Day

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate a pan- India campaign, Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman, to commemorate the 75th year of India as a republic.

About 'Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman'

The 'Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman' campaign by the Ministry of Law and Justice aims to celebrate the shared values that bind the nation and reaffirm the collective commitment to the principles mentioned in the Constitution of India. 

The themes to be covered are "Sabko Nyay -Har Ghar Nyaya", "Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp" and "Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyan".

Sabko Nyay: 

Har Ghar Nyaya is an initiative that aims to connect villagers through Village Level Entrepreneurs of Common Service Centres and encourage them to read the Sabko Nyay pledge. 

Nyaya Sahayak will raise awareness about various citizen-centric legal services to the masses at their doorsteps across aspirational blocks and districts. 

At the state and UT levels, Nyaya Seva Mela will be organised, which will serve as a platform for individuals to seek guidance, information and support on various legal as well as other government services and schemes.

Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp

Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp aims to encourage people to embrace the resolutions of Panch Pran by reading the Panch Pran Pledge. 

Citizens can showcase their talent and creativity by participating in Panch Pran Rangotsav (poster making competition) and Panch Pran Anubhav (reel/video making competition). 

The citizens will also get an opportunity to engage with the Constitution and test their knowledge of it. These activities will be hosted on the MyGov platform.

Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyan

This initiative will involve law college students. They will visit villages adopted by their colleges under the Pro Bono Club scheme. There, they will share information about the Panch Pran principles.

The goal is to share legal information about people's rights, duties and benefits. This will be done in an interesting and easy to remember way.

Initiatives like Gram Vidhi Chetna, Vanchit Varg Samman and Nari Bhagidari specifically target vulnerable groups in society.

The overall aim is to make all citizens feel proud and responsible to uphold India's constitutional ideals.

Nyaya Setu

At the upcoming event, the launch of Nyaya Setu will take place. This is a significant and transformative step towards extending legal services to those in need, especially in remote areas. 

The platform will provide a single legal solution for legal information, advice and assistance, which will help create a more inclusive and justified society.

DISHA scheme

The event will include the launch of the DISHA achievement booklet, which is a part of the Scheme on Access to Justice. 

The scheme aims to provide holistic access to justice through innovative solutions. 

Through the DISHA scheme's Tele Law Programme, over 67 lakh citizens have received pre-litigation advice using the Tele-Law Citizens Mobile App and 2.5 lakh Common Service Centres located in 36 States and UTs in India
