Ace india cueist, Pankaj Advani won the 2025 Asian Snooker Championship’s men’s title, defeating Amir Sarkosh of Iran in the final. This was the 14th title win for Pankaj Advani across the sports format in the Asian Snooker and Billiards events.
The 2025 Asian Snooker Championship for the Men’s, Women’s and Men’s under-21 was organised by the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports and hosted by the Qatar Billiards Sports Federation in Doha, Qatar, from 15-21 February 2025.
Pankaj Advani's win in Doha was his 14th title win across all the formats in Asia. He has won the Asian snooker titles (across 15-red, 6-reds, and team formats) five times. He has also won the Asian Billiards titles nine times and two Asian Games gold medals (Doha 2006, Guangzhou 2010).
In the final at the 2025 Asian Snooker Championship’s, Pankaj Advani defeated former Asian and World IBSF 6-red snooker champion Amir Sarkhosh of Iran, 4 frames to1.
In the semifinal, Pankaj Advani defeated Chang Yu Kiu of Hong Kong, China, while Amir defeated Qatar’s Ali Alobaidli in the other semi-final.
In the women's section of the 2025 Asian Snooker Championship, Mongolia’s Narantuya Bayarsaikhan defeated Ng On Yee of Hong Kong, China.
In the semifinal, Narantuya Bayarsaikhan defeated Anupama Ramachandran of India. In the other semi-final,l Ng On Yee defeated Amee Kamani of India.
Shaheen Sabzi of Iran defeated Zihao Dong of China to win the under-21 men’s title of the 2025 Asian Snooker Championship.
Dhruv Patel of India lost in the semi-final to Zihao Dong of China.
The Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports was set up as the Asian Billiards & Snooker Federation in 1984.
