Renowned Bollywood art director Nitin Desai tragically passed away on August 2, 2023. His lifeless body was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his ND Studio in Karjat, Mumbai.
The postmortem report confirmed death by hanging. The late Desai's funeral took place on August 4, 2023, in Mumbai, where several prominent stars bid him a tearful farewell.

Furthermore, the NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal), Mumbai bench issued a judgment on July 25, ordering the initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against Nitin Desai's company, ND Key Art World Private Limited. The bench appointed Jitendra Kothari as the interim resolution professional to undertake necessary actions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
