Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishnakar co-chaired the 15th Indian-Australian Foreign Ministers Framework Dialogue in Canberra, Australia, on 5 November 2024, along with Australian Foreign Minister Ms Penny Wong.
Dr Jaishnakar was on an official visit to Australia from 3-7 November 2024. After Australia he visited Singapore on 8 November 2024 where he attended the 8th Roundtable of ASEAN – India Network of Think Tanks.
In a testament to the close India -Australia ties, this was Dr Jaishankar's fifth visit to Australia in the last three years. His visit was part of continuous high-level interactions between the governments of both countries to strengthen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
During his visit to Australia ,Dr Jaishankar met the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of Australia Richard Marles.

Lusaka, capital of Zambia hosted the 6th Session of India-Zambia Joint Permanent Commission on 6 November 2024. The Commission meeting was co-chaired by the visiting Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh and the Zambian Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Mulambo Haimbe.
During the meeting, India agreed to provide 2500 metric tonnes of maize to Zambia, which is facing crop failure due to drought. Maize is the staple diet of the Zambian population.
Kirti Vardhan Singh was on an official visit to Zambia from November 4 to 7, 2024.
He also participated in the India-Zambia Business Round Table Conference to promote trade and investment between the two countries.

Thailand’s Foreign Minister, Maris Sangiampongsa, was on a four-day visit to India from 31 October to 3 November 2024.
He met the Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in New Delhi on 2 November 2024 and held discussions on global,regional and bilateral issues.
He first visited India in July 2024 to participate in the second BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers Retreat held in New Delhi.
