Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) Prayagraj (Allahabad) conducts an examination to recruit eligible candidates for TGT and PGT teachers every year. The conducting authority has released the official notification for the latest recruitment. Candidates with the relevant experience can apply for the vacancies and prepare for the examination.

UPSESSB has released 15508 vacancies, out of which there are 12913 vacancies for the Trained Graduate Teachers and 2595 vacancies for the Post Graduate Teachers.

Paper Pattern

UP TGT 

The candidates who applied for Uttar Pradesh TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test. The selection process of the UP TGT is based only on the written exam conducted for 500 marks. The merit list will be generated after the commencement of the examination based on the candidate’s marks obtained in the written test. The Selection Process consists of three stages- Written Test, Interview Process, and Merit-based on Educational Qualifications. All the stages of the UP PGT Selection process comprise 500 marks.
