UPSC NDA Exam Pattern 2024 

Candidates appearing for the UPSC NDA 2 2024 exam on 1 September 2024, should be well-acquainted with the UPSC NDA Exam Pattern. The written exam has two sections: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The UPSC NDA Written Exam contains objective-style questions in both the Mathematics and General Ability Test sections.  The UPSC NDA (II) Exam Pattern is detailed below:-

• The papers will exclusively include objective-type questions.
• The General Ability Test will consist of two sections: English and General Knowledge. The General Knowledge section will encompass a range of topics, including current events, history, and general science.
• The duration of each paper will be 2½ hours.
• The Mathematics Paper will be scored out of a maximum of 300 marks, while the General Ability Test (GAT) Paper will be scored out of a maximum of 600 marks.
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of ⅓ marks.
