UPSC IFS (Mains) Admit Card 2023 OUT - Get Download Link Here

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023 at various exam centres across India from 26 November 2023 onwards. The UPSC issued a notice on 14 November 2023 regarding the UPSC IFS Mains Examination admit card. The IFS (Mains) Admit Card 2023 will be available on the Commission’s website (http://upsconline.nic.in) from 17 November 2023. Candidates can download and print their e-Admit Cards from the official website of the commission. 

To avoid technical inconvenience, it is advised to download it as soon as it becomes available on the website. No paper admit card will be sent to students separately by the commission for this examination. Candidates must carefully read the "Important Instructions to Candidates" appended to the e-Admit Card. 

UPSC IFoS (Mains) Admit Card

UPSC IFoS Mains Admit Card is a necessary document that contains information on the exam date, time, location, applicants' information, and so on. Without an admit card, candidates will be unable to access the exam venue. Candidates are recommended to bring their admit card and ID proof to the exam hall. 

There are two stages to the selection procedure for the 150 Indian Forest Service positions. Stage 1 consists of a preliminary examination, while Stage 2 consists of a written exam and a personality test. The UPSC IFS Recruitment Admit Card is published separately for each stage and can only be accessed from the official website.

UPSC IFS Mains Admit Card Overview 2023

The IFS Main Exam is scheduled to begin on 26 November 2023, for candidates who were shortlisted by UPSC in the Prelims. A table summarising UPSC IFS Recruitment 2023 is provided below.

It should be noted that the Forenoon Session will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the Afternoon Session will be held from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM (as opposed to the previous 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM). Candidates' access to the Venue will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the Examination (each Session), as opposed to the current time limit of 10 minutes. No applicants will be permitted to enter the Examination Venue after the entry period has ended.

Steps to Download UPSC IFS (Mains) 2023 Admit Card:

Candidates can download their UPSC IFS Mains Examination admit card 2023 by clicking on the link provided above. Follow these steps if you are still having trouble downloading:

• Visit the official Website of the UPSC
• Click the Admit Cards tab available on the right side of the homepage.
• Select the “E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC” link from the options available at new window opened.
• Now, click on the Download E-Admit card link for the Indian Forest Services (Mains) Examination 2023
• Enter your login credentials, such as your Registration ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
• Enter the captcha code that appears on the screen and click the 'Submit' button to download your IFS Mains Admit Card.
• Download your IFS Admit Card and take a printout for your examination.

Note:

To get entrance to the Examination Hall, bring a printout of the e-Admit Card as well as the (original) Photo Identity Card listed on the e-Admit Card to each session. As per the notice, the candidates must keep the e-Admit Card until the final result of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2023 is announced. 

Documents to Bring with Your IFS Admit Card

You must bring a photo ID and other relevant papers as indicated by the Union Public Services Commission to the Examination Venue, in addition to the printout of the e-Admit Card. You must carry any of the original photo IDs to the exam centre.

• Voter Registration Card
• PAN Number
• Passport
• Driving Permit
• Any other state/central government-issued photo ID card. 

How to Correct Discrepancies in UPSC IFS Admit Card 2023?

Candidates should contact the authorities as soon as possible if any of the information is wrong or there are any discrepancies. To notify the Commission, candidates must send an e-mail with all of their details to soexam9-upsc@gov.in for a decision to be made in the matter. 

UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam Day Instructions 2023

The candidate must follow the most important instructions listed below while taking the UPSC IFS 2023 exam.

• Make sure that your admit card has been printed and is ready to be submitted at the examination centre. Bring a valid photo ID as well, as mentioned in the guidelines.
• Keep in mind the reporting time on your admit card and arrive at the examination centre early.  The examination venue's entrance will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. 
• Take notice of the prohibited items in the examination hall, which include cell phones, calculators, smartwatches, electronic devices, study materials, and so on. 
• In addition, candidates are advised to bring a black ballpoint pen to make entries in the attendance list.
• Understand the length of the exam and the questions you must answer. Use your time wisely to complete all of the questions on time.
