MPPSC SSE 2023 Prelims Paper Detailed Analysis

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) successfully conducted the State Services (Prelims) Examination on 17 December 2023. Our team visited various exam centres to collect feedback from candidates on the exam questions. The General Studies (GS) paper 1 was held in the first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon  and the GS Paper 2, i.e. CSAT, was conducted in the second shift from 02:15 p.m. to 04:15 p.m.

MPPSC SSE 2023 Prelims Tricky Questions and Answers 

MPPSC Prelims Paper 1 Analysis 2023 - Subject-wise Difficulty Level

  • Current Affairs, Sports & GK (Misc.)

There were 8 questions on these topics in the paper. The overall difficulty level of the questions was medium to hard.

  • Economics and Polity: 

The number of questions from Eco. & Polity are 16 and the level of the questions is easy to moderate. 

  • History

There were 12 questions from Indian History, out of which 2 questions were hard as compared to others. The overall difficulty level of the questions was moderate.

  • Geography & Environment

There are 2 questions which were hard otherwise all questions were easy. The overall difficulty level of the questions was easy to moderate.

  • Science

There are around 2-3 hard questions otherwise all questions were easy. The overall difficulty level of the questions was moderate.

  • MP Special

The majority of the questions focused on the state of Madhya Pradesh. These included questions about geography, politics, socioeconomics, government schemes, aayog, notable people, and general state knowledge. The level of questions was easy to moderate.

  • Computer Awareness

Computer awareness questions covered topics such as network types and IP addresses. The level of questions was hard.
