BPSC has announced the exam date of the much-awaited 69th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination in 2023. The Bihar Public Service Commission will hold the BPSC 69th Prelims 2023 exam on September 30, 2023, to fill 442 vacancies for positions such as Supply Inspector, Rural Development Officer, Block Panchayati Raj Officer, Assistant Director, CDPO, Deputy Superintendent of Police and others.
The BPSC CDPO Preliminary examination and the BPSC 69th examination have been combined, resulting in a consolidated selection procedure for both exams. Candidates for CDPO and other posts will now take a common preliminary examination as part of the 69th BPSC exam.

69th BPSC 2023 -Exam Schedule & Shift Timings
The 69th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Prelims 2023 will be held on September 30, 2023.
- The General Studies (GS) paper of the exam will be held in a single shift from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Examinees must reach the examination centre by 11:00 a.m. (One hour before the scheduled exam time).

BPSC 69th CCE Exams Instructions – DOs and Don’ts
Here are some DOs and DON’Ts that you should follow on exam day in order to perform well.
DOs
- Since candidates’ examination centres are far away from home, all the candidates should keep the admit card, ID proof and photocopy, and two photographs in their bags a day in advance.
- Reaching the exam centre on the exam day with a calm mind and without panic is very important to perform well in the exam.
- Familiarise yourself with the exam centre's location a day or two before the exam to avoid any last-minute confusion.
- Candidates must bring one official government photo ID, such as a passport, PAN card, voter identification card, Aadhaar card, etc., to their testing location, along with two passport-size photos.
DON’Ts
- Candidates are not permitted to carry any forbidden items, such as mobile phones, electronic pens, smartwatches, and so on.
- Do not bring any study material, notes, or books into the examination centre.
- Do not write anything on the question paper or OMR sheet except for your roll number. Use of correction pen in OMR sheet is not allowed.
- Avoid any form of communication with fellow candidates during the examination, which will result in the cancellation of your exam.
- Don't overthink or panic during the exam; it may lead negatively and impact your performance.
Instructions for Filling OMR Sheet in 69th BPSC Exam
Since this exam is conducted in offline mode, candidates have to fill the OMR sheets carefully with a black or blue ball pen. They have to mark the sheet carefully, as they will not be able to change the answers once marked. Here are some important things about the OMR sheet you should keep in mind while attempting 69th BPSC prelims.
- Do not write anything other than the requested information on OMR.
- Fill out the OMR sheet with all the required information in the manner specified by the exam invigilator.
- It is advisable to mark your answers in OMR sheet only after carefully reading the questions and solving them so that you do not fill in the wrong answers in a furry at the last moment.
