BPSC 72nd Apply Online Process:
Step 1: Open the official Bihar Public Service Commission website @bpsc.bihar.gov.in. On the left-hand menu of the homepage, click on the Apply Online link.
Step 2: Clicking the link opens the BPSC online application portal. Look down the active examinations list, click on the 72nd Combined Competitive Examination link.
Step 3: Click on New Registration. Carefully enter your details, like your name, parentage, and contact info. Click on submit, and the system will instantly send a provisional registration number and password to your registered email and mobile number.
Step 4: Use those new credentials to log back into the dashboard. Now, fill out the BPSC 72nd Application Form, making sure your educational history, age proofs, and post preferences match your official documents.
Step 5: Upload scans of your certificates, mark sheets, passport-size photo, and signature according to the official size limits.

BPSC 72nd Selection Process has been detailed in the BPSC 72nd Notification 2026, which comprises 3 stages as detailed below:-
In this test, candidates will have to choose one option for every multiple-choice question. This examination will be just a screening test, on the basis of which the candidates will be selected for the main examination. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English.
Successful candidates of the Preliminary Competitive Examination will have to fill out separate application forms for the Main Examination. The optional subjects for different posts of the combined Main (written) examination will be different, out of which the candidate will have to choose one. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English.
There will be a Personality Test (Interview) of 120 marks for the successful candidates of the Mains Examination.
Note: Candidates have to clear both the written tests, and only then will they be called to appear in the interview for final selection.
