Selection Details for UP Police Home Guard Final Result 2026

The recruitment authority of Uttar Pradesh Police finalized the selection of 41,424 applicants to occupy the officially notified vacancies distributed across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The final selection list includes 8,290 women candidates.

Notably, in accordance with Section 2(3) of the UP Public Services (Reservation) Amendment Act, 2007, 439 candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category have been selected against Scheduled Tribe (ST) vacancies across 50 districts due to a lack of eligible ST candidates.

The board prepared the final selection using candidates' normalised written examination scores and additional marks awarded for eligible preferential qualifications. In cases of a tie in marks, merit was resolved by prioritizing the candidate older in age, followed by the alphabetical order of the candidate's first name as recorded in their High School certificate. Furthermore, candidates will be able to view their individual scorecard and normalized marks on the official website via a separate link in the last week of October 2026.

UP Home Guard Final Cut-off 2026

The UPPRPB has published district-wise cut-off details for the last selected candidate against the vacancies available in each district. Candidates should check the cut-off applicable to their district and category through the district-wise selection information released with the final result. The cut-off marks are provided at the end of List-1 (the overall district-wise selection list).

The final selection did not use a single statewide cut-off because the board prepared the merit list against district-wise vacancies. Therefore, candidates should refer to the cut-off associated with their respective district and category instead of relying on one common state-level figure.

UP Home Guard Final Result 2026: What Next?
