What After UP Police Constable Result 2026

Shortlisted candidates whose names appear in the UP Constable Result 2026 merit list will be shortlisted for the next stages of the recruitment process. Qualifying the written examination does not guarantee final selection, as candidates must successfully clear the remaining stages conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).

Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST)

The first stage after the UP Police Constable Result 2026 is Document Verification (DV) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). During document verification, candidates' original educational certificates, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), and other required documents will be verified. Simultaneously, candidates will undergo the Physical Standard Test, where physical measurements such as height and chest measurement (for male candidates only) will be checked according to the prescribed eligibility criteria. This is a qualifying stage, and candidates must meet all requirements to proceed further.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who successfully qualify the DV and PST will appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In this stage, candidates are required to complete the prescribed running test within the specified time limit. The PET is also qualifying in nature, and only those who meet the required physical efficiency standards will remain eligible for final selection in the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026.
