UP SI Eligibility Criteria 2025 

UP SI Eligibility Criteria must be checked by the candidates before submitting the online application. Nationality

A candidate for recruitment must:-

(a) be a citizen of India, or

(b) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India,

 or

(c) a person of Indian origin who has moved to India from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or any East African country of Kenya, Uganda, or the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), intending to settle permanently.

Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates who possess any of the following:

• 'O' Level Computer Certificate from DOEACC / NIELIT Society
• At least two years of service in the Territorial Army
• “B” Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Character

The candidate's character should be such that he/she is suitable for employment in government service in every way. In this regard, the decision of the appointing authority will be final.

Marital Status

A male/female candidate who has more than one wife/husband living is ineligible for appointment to a position in the Service, as is a female candidate who has married a man who already has one wife living.

Note: However, the Government may exempt any person from applying this rule if it determines that a special reason exists.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of the UPPRPB by clicking on the link above.

Step 2: On the homepage, you will get a link to “apply online for UP Police Sub Inspector 2025 Recruitment” under the Top Notice segment.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page where you must register first.

Step 4: After registration, log in with your registration ID and Password to fill out the application form with all the required information.

Step 5: Upload all required documents as specified in the application guidelines. Check that these documents meet the requirements for successful submission.

Step 6: Pay the application fee corresponding to your category and submit the application form.

Step 7: After submitting the application form, print a copy of the final submission for your records.

UP SI 2025 Selection Process

UP SI Selection Process must be checked by the candidates before filling out their application form. To get selected for the Uttar Pradesh Sub Inspector positions, candidates are required to clear the three-layer recruitment process. Check the Uttar Pradesh SI Selection Process here:-

1. Written Examination 

The first stage is the Written Examination, comprising 160 questions carrying a total of 400 marks. The examination will consist of four separate sections. To qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process, candidates must secure at least 35% marks in each section and a minimum of 50% marks overall.

A. Document Verification:- Successful candidates in the written exam will be shortlisted for the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test. Candidates are required to carry their original documents along with them.

UP Sub Inspector Exam Pattern

1. UP SI Exam will be conducted on OMR Sheets in written mode. 
2. There will be 4 separate sections containing 40 questions of 100 marks in each section. 
3. Candidates are required to complete the exam in 2 Hours. 
4. Questions will be provided in both Hindi and English, except for Section 1 (General Hindi), which will be in Hindi only.
5. To qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process, candidates must secure at least 35% marks in each section and a minimum of 50% marks overall.

Uttar Pradesh SI 2025 Admit Card

The UPPRPB will release the UP Police SI Admit Card approximately one week before the examination date. This admit card is a crucial document, as candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre without it.

To download the UP Police SI Admit Card, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official UPPRPB website.
2. On the homepage, navigate to the “Recruitment” or “Admit Card” section.
3. Click on the link “Download UP Police SI Admit Card 2025.”
4. Enter your registration number, date of birth, and any other required details.
5. Review the information entered and submit.
6. The UP SI exam admit card will appear on the screen.
7. Save and print a copy of the admit card for future reference.

UP SI Answer Key 2025

UP SI Answer Key 2025 will be uploaded by the UPPRPB after conducting the examination. Candidates will be able to download the UP SI Answer Key by visiting the official website of the UPPRPB. UP SI 2025 Salary

The salary for the UP Sub Inspector position is in the pay band of ₹9,300–₹34,800 with a grade pay of ₹4,200. Along with the salary, selected candidates will get some additional benefits such as Dress Allowance, Diwali bonus, Medical facilities, Medical Facility and Risk Allowance.
