SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2023 

SBI Clerk eligibility criteria is explained in the SBI Clerk 2023 Recruitment Notification and candidates must ensure that they are meeting the eligibility criteria. In this section, we are describing the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria, which typically contain nationality, age limit and educational qualification.  

Nationality

To apply for the SBI Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre at State Bank of India, the candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit & Relaxation

To be eligible for the SBI Clerk position, candidates must be at least 20 years old but not more than 28 years old as of 1 April 2023. In other words, candidates should have been born between 2 April 1995, and 1 April 2003, inclusive of both dates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to some categories. Category-wise relaxation of upper age limit is as follows:-

Educational Qualification

To apply for the SBI Clerk Position, candidates must have the following mentioned degrees:-

  1. For the SBI Clerk position, candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government. Those with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the IDD's passing date is on or before 31 December 2023.
  2. Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, if provisionally selected, they must provide evidence of having successfully completed the graduation examination on or before 31 December 2023.

Step 3: Upon successful registration, note down the provisional registration number and password provided by the system for future reference.

Candidates aiming for the Clerical Cadre position through the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2023 exam undergo a two-phase selection process consisting of the SBI Clerk Prelims and SBI Clerk Mains exams. Successful completion of both phases is mandatory for candidates to receive the appointment letter from SBI. SBI Clerk 2023 Admit Card

SBI Clerk admit card 2023 will be available one or two weeks before the exam date. Candidates who have registered for the SBI Clerk exam must download their admit cards from the State Bank of India's official website. The physical copy of the SBI Clerk admit card won't be sent via courier. The admit card for the SBI Clerk Exam will be released in two stages: one for the preliminary exam and another for the main exam. To access the admit card, candidates can follow these steps:-.

  • Visit the official SBI website.
  • Log in to the official SBI website by entering your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password to access your account, which will be provided to you while applying for the exam.
  • After entering the details, your admit card will be available on the screen.

SBI Clerk Result 2023 

The SBI Clerk Result 2023 will be announced after the completion of both phases of the examination. State Bank of India will publish separate results for both the preliminary and main exams. Those who will be shortlisted for the SBI Clerk position will get paid on pay scale Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The initial Basic Pay stands at Rs.19900/- (comprising Rs.17900/- along with two additional increments granted to graduates).
