Nationality
For eligibility as a candidate for the PNB (Punjab National Bank) Specialist Officer (SO) position, one must fulfill one of the following nationality criteria:
i. A citizen of India, or
ii. A subject of Nepal, or
iii. A subject of Bhutan, or
iv. A Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement in India, or
v.An individual of Indian origin who has relocated to India with the intention of permanent settlement from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African nations including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (previously known as Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
It is important to note that candidates falling under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to be considered for the PNB SO position.

PNB SO 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for PNB SO Recruitment 2024 will be determined through an Online Written Test, followed by a Personal Interview or, in certain cases, a Personal Interview only. The mode of selection, whether it involves both the Online Written Test and Personal Interview or only the Personal Interview, will be contingent upon the number of applications received for each post and will be at the discretion of the Bank.
