RRB Ministerial & Isolated Category Notification 2024 contains the eligibility criteria of RRB's various post-recruitment. We are detailing RRB Isolated Post Eligibility Criteria here for your reference:-

Nationality

To apply for the RRB Ministerial & Isolated Category posts, a candidate must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
(a) Be a citizen of India, or
(b) Be a subject of Nepal, or
(c) Be a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 and intends to permanently settle in India, or
(e) Be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam, to permanently settle in India.

Note:- 

1. Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

2. Such candidates may be allowed to take the examination provisionally. However, the appointment will only be confirmed upon submission of the required eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification

These qualifications must be obtained from a recognized Board, University, Institute, or Authority by the closing date for online application submission, i.e., 6 February 2025.

Applicants who are awaiting the results of their final examination for the required educational qualifications and whose results will be declared after the application closing date SHOULD NOT apply. Trained Graduate Teachers of different subjects 

(A) One of the following qualifications:

  • Graduation in the relevant stream with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent).
  • At least 50% marks in either Graduation (in the relevant stream) or Post-Graduation (in the relevant stream) along with a B.Ed.
  • A graduate degree in the relevant stream with a minimum of 45% marks, along with a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification, as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations.
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 12th grade (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed degree.
  • Graduation (in the relevant stream) with at least 50% marks and a one-year B.Ed (Special Education).
  • Post- Graduation (in the relevant stream) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, and a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

(B) The candidate must have successfully cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the relevant government authority, in accordance with the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Note: The minimum percentage of marks in Graduation is not applicable to those who were admitted to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent courses before 9 December 2013.

(C) Proficiency in teaching in Bengali medium.

Note: A relaxation of up to 5% in the required educational qualification marks will be provided to candidates from reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD.

Trained Graduate Teachers (Drawing)

(A) One of the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree (M.A.) in Drawing and Painting or Fine Arts from a recognized university.
  • B.A. (Hons) in Art and Art Education.
  • A Second-Class Bachelor’s Degree with Drawing and Painting/Fine Arts, along with a minimum two-year full-time Diploma from a recognized institution.
  • 12th (+2 Stage) with a minimum four-year full-time Diploma in Painting/Fine Arts, or a part-time Diploma of at least five years' duration.

(B) Proficiency in teaching in the English medium.

Desirable:

  • Completion of at least a two-year Teacher Training Course from a recognized institution, or
  • At least two years of teaching experience from a recognized institution.

Chief Law Assistant

  • A University Degree in Law with at least 3 years of standing practice as a Pleader at the Bar.
  • Serving Railway employees who hold a Law degree are also eligible to apply, provided they have completed a minimum of 5 years of service in any branch of the Railway Administration.
  • Vacancies designated for Direct Recruitment are also open to Railway Magistrates who meet the prescribed qualifications for direct recruits and wish to apply for these posts.

Public Prosecutor

A Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university and a minimum of five years of standing as an advocate at the Bar.

Physical Training Instructor (English Medium) 

  • A Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or its equivalent.
  • Proficiency in teaching Physical Education in the English medium.

Scientific Assistant/Training

(A) A Second-Class Master’s Degree in Psychology.
(B) At least one year of experience in administering psychological tests.

Desirable:

  1. Proficiency in Computers and Statistics.
  2. Specialization in Industrial or Organizational Psychology.

Junior Translator/Hindi

(A) One of the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) in Hindi or English, with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
  • A Master’s Degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English as the medium of instruction and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
  • A Master’s Degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) in any subject other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, one as the medium of examination and the other as either a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

(B) Either of the following:

  • A recognized Diploma or Certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
  • At least two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India undertakings.

Senior Publicity Inspector

  • A Degree from a recognized university and a Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or Mass Communication from a recognized institution or university.

Desirable:

  • Two years of experience in related fields.

Staff and Welfare Inspector

Graduation along with any one of the following qualifications:

(A) Diploma in Labour/Social Welfare.

(B) Diploma in Labour Laws.

(C) LLB with specialization or papers in Labour Laws.

(D) Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management.

(E) MBA with specialization in Personnel Management, awarded by a Government of India-recognized institution.

(F) MBA in Human Resources (HR) from an institution recognized by the Government of India.

(G) Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with a curriculum that includes relevant papers in Personnel Management, awarded by a Government of India-recognized institution.

Librarian

  • A Bachelor of Library Science (4-year course).

Music Teacher (Female)

A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Music with Music as one of the subjects from a recognized university.

12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination along with any one of the following qualifications:

  1. Sangeet Visharad Examination from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Bombay.
  2. Sangeet Vid Examination from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh (M.P.).
  3. Sangeet Prabhakar Examination from Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music), Allahabad.
  4. Sangeet Visharad Examination from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow (formerly Morris College of Hindustani Music, Lucknow).
  5. Final Examination from Madhva Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Lashkar, Gwalior.
  6. Final Examination from Shankar Gandharva Vidyalaya, Gwalior.
  7. Diploma in Sangeet Ratan conferred by the Director of the Department of Education, Madhya Pradesh.

Primary Railway Teacher of different subjects 

(A) One of the following qualifications:

  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name).
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Completion of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
  • Post-graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

(B) Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the NCTE guidelines.

(C) Ability to teach effectively in both Hindi and English mediums.

Note: Candidates from reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD, are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5% in the required educational qualifying marks.

Assistant Teacher (Female) (Junior School) 

(A) One of the following qualifications:

  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name).
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name).

(B) Should have successfully cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the respective Government in accordance with NCTE guidelines.

(C) Ability to teach effectively in both Hindi and English mediums.

Note: A relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.

Laboratory Assistant/School

12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with Science subjects, along with one year of experience in a Pathological and Biochemical Laboratory.

Lab Assistant Grade III(Chemist and Metallurgist)

12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with Science subjects, specifically Physics and Chemistry, or an equivalent qualification.

  3. Complete the registration form by providing your basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
  4. After successful registration, you will receive a registration ID and password on your email and mobile number.
  5. Use your registration ID and password to access your account and fill out the application form.
  6. Fill in the necessary details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.
  7. Upload your recent passport-sized photograph and signature according to the specifications mentioned in the notification.

  • The Single Stage CBT question paper will have a duration of 90 minutes and consist of 100 multiple-choice questions of 100 marks.

RRB Ministerial & Isolated Category 2024 Exam Cut-off 

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Document Verification (DV) based on their performance in the CBT (Computer-Based Test).

For the Translation Test, candidates will be shortlisted up to 10 times the number of vacancies, depending on their CBT scores. If multiple candidates score the same as the cutoff, they will all be invited for the Translation Test, even if the number of candidates exceeds 10 times the vacancies.
