The Indian Coast Guard has begun accepting online applications for the Navik (DB, GD) from 8 September 2023. For the online application, candidates must go to the ICG's official website. The selection process for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Navik Recruitment 2023 includes the following stages:
Written Test: The written examination will be of the objective type with multiple choice based questions. Candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to take the physical fitness test (PFT). Before the written examination, there will be a document scrutiny process; candidates failing to submit the required documents will not be allowed to sit for the written examination.
Candidates who applied for the Navik (GD) position must attempt two sections of the paper - Section 1 and Section 2, and for the DB Position, only Section 1 of the paper is required to be attempted.
All documentation provided by the candidate will be rechecked, and a final medical test to confirm fitness will be conducted at INS Chilka.
All original documents of finally shortlisted candidates will be verified for the last time.
