IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025

Step 1: Begin by accessing the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Step 2: Navigate to the "What's New" section on the website and click on the link labelled"Online Applications for the posts of SA/Exe in IB".

Step 3: A PDF file will open once you click on the link. Inside the PDF, locate and copy the provided link.

Step 4: Open a web browser and paste the link you copied in the previous step, then hit the search button.

Step 5: Now, proceed with the registration process, providing the necessary details as required.

Step 6: After successful registration, fill out the application form and ensure that you attach the required documents according to the specified format.

Step 7: Pay the stipulated application fee and submit your application.

Step 8: Finally, download and print a copy of the application form for your future reference.

Application Fees 

To complete the application process, candidates are required to pay the application fee, which comprises two parts: an Examination Fee of ₹100 (Rupees One Hundred only) and Recruitment Processing Charges of ₹550. However, certain categories are exempt from paying the examination fee. The fee payment must be done online via SBI EPAY LITE using any of the following methods: Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or through an SBI challan.

IB Security Assistant 2025 Exam Cut-off 

IB SA Cut-off Marks 2025 will be announced by the MHA along with the result declaration. Based on the combined performance in the Tier-I and Tier-III examinations, a final merit list will be prepared for the post of SA/Executive. To ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates and to maintain a high standard of recruitment, minimum qualifying marks (out of 100) will be prescribed for the Tier-I examination, as detailed below:

IB Security Assistant 2025 Salary

The selected candidates for the post of Security Assistant/Executive will receive a salary as per Level-3 of the Pay Matrix (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) along with applicable Central Government allowances.

Additional Benefits:

• Special Security Allowance (SSA): 20% of the basic pay will be provided as Special Security Allowance, over and above the standard government allowances.
• Holiday Duty Compensation: Candidates will also be eligible for cash compensation for duties performed on holidays, subject to a maximum limit of 30 days.
