UIIC AO 2024 Vacancy

A total of 250 vacancies have been announced by the UIIC for the UIIC AO positions this year. Most available positions are concentrated in the Western and Southern Zones of the country. Successful candidates will likely be assigned to offices within these zones for an initial minimum period of five years. Requests for transfers to preferred locations will not be considered during this period. The company holds final authority in all cases, and candidates must be prepared for potential postings nationwide.

UIIC AO Eligibility Criteria 2024 

To become eligible for the UIIC Administrative Officer Exam 2024, candidates need to meet the specified UIIC AO eligibility criteria outlined below. These criteria include age limits, educational qualifications, and more, as detailed in the following section:

(a) Nationality

You're eligible if you are:

• A Citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, aiming to settle here permanently
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention to settle in India.

(b) Age Limit:

Candidates should be at least 21 years old but at most 30 years as of 31 December 2023. Their birth dates should fall between 1 January 1994, and 31 December 2002 inclusive of both dates.

Relaxation Age

Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Relaxation in the upper age limit shall be as follows:

(c) Educational Qualification 

Candidates applying for the position of UIIC AO must hold a certificate validating the completion of their qualifying examination by 31 December 2023. The minimum educational requirement is a degree with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Category) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government.

Notes:

(i) The above-mentioned qualifications should be acquired from a recognized University/Institute in India, duly approved by UGC/AICTE, following a suitable pattern like 10+2+3 or its equivalent.

(ii) Candidates must have finished the stated qualification on or before 31 December 2023. Individuals who have taken their final examination for the minimum educational qualification by 31 December 2023 but whose results are declared after this date are ineligible to apply.

(iii) Proficiency in computer usage is a mandatory requirement.

UIIC AO Online Application 2024 can be submitted by 23 January 2024. Candidates can’t submit multiple applications. UIIC AO 2024 Selection Process

The UIIC AO Selection Process comprises 2 stages are as follows:

• Written Examination
• Interview 

For all disciplines except doctors, your selection is based on both the Online Examination and the Interview. However, for doctors, the focus is solely on the interview, with no written test involved.

Once you qualify the Competitive Online Written Examination, you'll be invited for an interview. The number of candidates called for the interview is up to three times the number of vacancies for each category/discipline. The final selection will be based on your performance in the online objective test and the interview. The interview is to be conducted at select centres. 

UIIC AO Exam Pattern 2023 

Before you apply for the UIIC Administrative Officer (Scale I), candidates must be familiar with the examination pattern and plan their study accordingly. Below, we are providing a UIIC AO Exam Pattern 2024:-

• All questions in the test are multiple-choice, requiring the selection of the correct option.
• Except for the "English Language" test, all other tests will be accessible in both English and Hindi.
• For each incorrect answer, a penalty of one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted. No penalty is incurred for unanswered questions.
• The test consists of 200 questions, carrying a total of 200 marks. Candidates have to complete the UIIC AO Exam in 2 Hours.
