To apply for the position of Nursing Officer, candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

A.

(i) Possession of a B.Sc. in Nursing from an accredited University or Institute.

OR

Successful completion of a regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from an accredited University or Institute.

OR

Attainment of a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an accredited University or Institute.

(ii) Registration as a Nurse or Nurse-Midwife (RN or RN & RM) from any Nursing Council.

(iii) Registration as a Nurse or Nurse-Midwife (RN or RN & RM) from Delhi Nursing Council at the time of appointment.

OR

B.

(i) Successful completion of a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board of Council.

(ii) Registration as a Nurse or Nurse-Midwife (RN or RN & RM) from any Nursing Council.

(iii) Registration as a Nurse or Nurse-Midwife (RN or RN & RM) from Delhi Nursing Council at the time of appointment.

(iv) One year of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

Application Fees 

To complete the application process, candidates have to submit a fee of 100 rupees. However, women applicants and individuals falling under categories such as Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability), and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of application fees. Candidates applying online must exclusively pay the prescribed fees through SBI e-pay. Payments made through any other mode will not be acknowledged, leading to the outright rejection of the respective applications, and the forfeit of the payment made. It's important to note that the application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

To qualify for the DSSSB Nursing Officer position, candidates must participate in the One-Tier examination scheme. DSSSB retains the authority to modify or amend the examination scheme, if necessary, at any time before the examination.
