Delhi Police Head Constable Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Before applying for the DP HC AWO/TPO Recruitment, candidates must check the eligibility criteria first. Eligibility criteria generally include nationality, age limit and educational qualification. In this section, we are detailing DP HC 2023 eligibility criteria:-

Nationality

To apply for the DP Head Constable position, a candidate should be an Indian citizen. 

Age Limit & Relaxation

Applicants must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 27 years to be eligible for the DP HC 2023 positions. However, the upper age limit can be relaxed only under the following circumstances:

Educational Qualification

Applicants willing to take the Delhi Police Head Constable exam 2023 must meet one of the following criteria:

Have passed the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) examination from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics as subjects.

OR

Possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication Systems. 

Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the following Professional Attainments:

  • Proficiency in Computer Operation (qualifying in nature)
  • Test of English word processing speed: 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
  • Test of Basic Computer Functions including opening/closing of PC, printing, MS Office usage, saving and modifying typed text, paragraph setting and numbering, among other skills.

Delhi Police Head Constable Application Process

The application process for the Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2023 involves the following steps, which are to be completed online through the official Staff Selection Commission website:-

Step 1: Visit the SSC official website.

Step 2: Access the homepage and register by following the necessary steps to create a unique Registration ID and password essential for the application form.

Step 3: Log in by using the created login details.

Step 4: Fill in all required information accurately in the designated fields.

Step 5: Upload all specified documents as outlined in the application form.

Step 6: Pay the application fee before final submission.

Step 7: After verifying all details, submit the application form. It's advisable to retain a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Application Fees 

To successfully apply, candidates must pay the required application fee as per their category. Payment methods include online options such as BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards. DP Head Constable 2023 Selection Process

The DP HC AWO/TPO 2023 selection process comprises the following mandatory tests in sequential order:

(i) Computer Based Examination will be conducted by SSC for 100 Marks

(ii) Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) will be conducted by Delhi Police, which is of qualifying nature.

(iii) Trade Test will be conducted by Delhi Police (of qualifying nature)

(iv) Proficiency Test administered by Delhi Police, which is Qualifying and includes:

  • Test of English Word Processing Speed: 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
  • Test of Basic Computer Functions including PC operations, printing, MS Office usage, text editing, paragraph formatting, and numbering. 

DP Head Constable Exam Pattern

Before candidates apply for the DP HC AWO/TPO Exam, it's essential to be acquainted with the examination pattern for the Delhi Police 2023 Exam. Here's a detailed overview:

  1. Candidates have to appear in the Computer Based Examination lasting One and a half hours (90 Minutes).

Candidates declared qualified in the Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT) will proceed to the Trade Test. DP Head Constable 2023 Admit Card

The Staff Selection Commission will exclusively issue the Delhi Police Head Constable 2023 Admit Cards to candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms.
