As the registration process will be strictly governed by the court’s requirements, applicants should carefully review the Delhi Judicial Service Eligibility Criteria. When a candidate registers for the exam, even though they are not eligible, they will be declared ineligible for the exam. The following eligibility conditions should, therefore, be carefully reviewed by candidates.
A candidate must be an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply for the post of Civil Judge through the Delhi Judicial Services Examination. Any candidate with a foreign nationality cannot apply for the abovementioned post.
The candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 01 January 2023. Candidates from certain categories are permitted a relaxation in the upper age limit; see the table below for further information:

Candidates interested in applying for the Delhi Judicial Services Recruitment 2023 can do so on the official website of the Delhi Judicial Services by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the Delhi High Court’s official website.
Step 2: Navigate to the Public Notice Section to Apply for the Delhi Judicial Services Examination.
Step 3: When you click on the Apply Now link, the application window will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself first by providing the required information.
Step 5: Now, login with the Application Number and Password.
Step 6: Fill out the application form carefully and upload the required documents in the prescribed format

The High Court of Delhi’s Selection Process for Delhi Judicial Services Recruitment consists of three stages. Candidates will be considered eligible for the next stages of the examination only if they secure minimum qualifying marks decided by the court. Read on to know about all three stages of the DJS Selection Process.
The Preliminary Examination for Delhi Judicial Service will be a qualifying screening exam consisting of one paper of multiple choice questions with a maximum of 200 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the preliminary examination for the general category candidates will be 60% and 55% for the reserved categories, which include Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities.
Note:
The preliminary examination marks secured by the candidates shortlisted for the Mains Examination (Written) will not be added to the final merit list.
The Delhi Judicial Service's second level is the Mains Examination (Written), which selects applicants for the Viva-Voce. The Mains (written) exam will be of 850 marks and will consist of four compulsory papers.
Viva-Voce will be worth 150 marks. Candidates from the general category must secure a minimum of 40% in each mains exam paper and 50% in the aggregate, while candidates from the reserved categories, i.e., Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities, must secure a minimum of 35% marks in each written paper and 45% in the aggregate in the Mains (Written) Examination.

The admit card for each stage of the selection process will be issued separately by the court, which candidates have to download from the official website only.
