The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has issued an official advertisement to announce 1841 vacant posts under various Departments and Local/Autonomous Bodies of the Delhi Government. Candidates can apply online for the DSSSB recruitment 2023 from 17 August to 15 September 2023.
The DSSSB conducts eligibility tests for recruiting suitable candidates for the various departmental posts of the Delhi Government (GNCTD). It will soon conduct online computer based exams for the vacancies announced on 4 August 2023 for different post codes of GNCTD Departments. This announcement has been made via a vacancy notice on the official DSSSB website through Advertisement No. 02/23 (dated 31 July 2023).
The advertised posts include TGT, PGT and other teaching vacancies in the Directorate of Education, along with various positions in the New Delhi Municipal Council, the Department of Information & Publicity, Forensic Science Laboratory, the Health & Family Welfare Department, etc.

The pay scale and eligibility requirements for the various post codes are as prescribed by the individual user departments. Candidates can check the DSSSB salary details for the above vacancies in the official notification.
Before applying for the exam, candidates must check the post-wise eligibility conditions and confirm the post code of the job they wish to apply for.
The Board has prescribed certain conditions that candidates need to satisfy for applying to the DSSSB vacancies. Candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria for different post codes from the official DSSSB notification pdf.
The basic eligibility criteria have been mentioned below.
i) The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
ii) The candidate must satisfy the eligibility conditions for the relevant post, as set out by the Recruitment Rules of the respective Department. These would include age limit, educational qualifications, experience, etc. (Refer official notification for details.)
iii) The above conditions of age, qualification, etc shall be determined as on 15 September 2023.
iv) The DSSSB shall allow reservation benefits to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ Ex-Servicemen as per the government orders. For the OBC category, only candidates belonging to Delhi shall be permitted to take the reservation benefit.
The online applications for the vacant posts under the DSSSB recruitment 2023 shall be started from 17 August 2023 on the official website. The last date for application is 15 September 2023.
Candidates are required to first register on the DSSSB portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in/ before they can submit the application. The DSSSB registration is a one time process, and the same can be used to apply for any post declared by the Board. Candidates are not required to register separately for every examination.
You can follow the steps below to register and apply for DSSSB exams.
Go to the DSSSB Online Application Registration System https://dsssbonline.nic.in/
If you are not registered on the website, click on the New Registration tab and complete the one time registration.
Sign-in to the portal using the User Id and password generated during the registration.
You can then fill your DSSSB application form for the posts under the latest recruitment advertisement of 2023 (No. 02/23).
Upload a scanned copy of your photo and signature.
Make the required payment for the application fee and submit your application.
Save a copy of the final confirmation page.
The application fee for the DSSSB recruitment 2023 is Rs. 100/- for all candidates. However, the following categories of candidates are exempt from paying any application fees :
Women
SC/ ST candidates
Persons with Disabilities
Ex-Servicemen (who have not availed reservation benefit to secure a civil post in the Delhi Government)
Note : Candidates are required to pay the DSSSB application fee through SBI e-pay only.
The subordinate services selection board DSSSB conducts eligibility tests for the various post codes under different exam schemes. The exams for the 2023 recruitment drive announced via advertisement 02/2023 will be conducted under the One Tier exam scheme.
Candidates must take note of the following points with respect to the DSSSB exam pattern.
The exam will be held in online mode as a Computer Based Test.
The question paper for all posts except for the One Tier (General) exams shall consist of two sections, A and B. Section A will test the candidate’s general aptitude and language skills. Section B will have questions specific to the domain subject.
All questions under the current recruitment exam (02/23) shall be objective-type MCQs for 1 mark each.
Negative marking : 0.25 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer.

Note :
*Ex-servicemen are allowed a 5% relaxation in their category, but the minimum marks they score should not be less than 30%.
The DSSSB cut-off may be declared at a higher score, as per the number of vacancies and the marks obtained by candidates.
For all technical posts, only the marks obtained in Section B will be taken into consideration to calculate the minimum qualifying marks.

The syllabus for the DSSSB 2023 exam has been designed to test the general aptitude of the candidates, as well as specific domain knowledge relevant to the post. DSSSB Admit Card 2023
Candidates appearing in the selection service board exams of Delhi will need to carry their valid admit card issued by the Board to the DSSSB exam centre. The admit card or hall ticket contains essential information about the examination venue, date, time, and important instructions to be followed during the exam. It also validates your candidature for the exam.
You can download the DSSSB admit card from the official DSSSB website. The admit card download link will be available in the top notification bar on the website. It will take you to a login page, where you can enter your application number, date of birth, and the security code displayed on the screen.
The results of the DSSSB recruitment exams shall be decided as per the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the Board. However, the merit list shall be prepared based on the final cut-off marks declared after the exam. The selection board may need to normalize marks scored by candidates if required. The final merit list shall be prepared based on the normalized scores.
The results of the applicants of all technical post codes will be based on their performance in their specific domain subject. Thus, the minimum qualifying marks will be applicable only in respect of Section B of the question paper. However, the final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks of sections A and B.
The result shall be declared on the official DSSSB website through an official notice. Candidates can check their marks statements by logging on to the DSSSB registration portal. The result notification with the cut-off and provisional merit lists shall be available in the “Results” section of the DSSSB website, under the “Important Information” menu tab.
