CTET Exam Date 2026 (Announced): Check CTET February Exam Schedule

The CTET Exam Date 2026 has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) through a notice issued on October 24, 2025. According to the notice, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be conducted on 8th February 2026 (Sunday). The CTET February 2026 will be held separately for both Paper I and Paper II on the same day. Soon, the Board will issue the detailed CTET February Notification 2026 with the complete CTET Exam information. 

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted as a mandatory qualification exam for those candidates who are aspiring to teach in government schools across India. Candidates who want to teach Primary Classes can appear in Paper I for classes 1 to 5 (Primary Level) and candidates who want to teach Upper Primary Classes can appear in Paper II for classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Level). If any candidates want to appear in both papers, they can apply after checking the eligibility for both levels. CTET Application Process 2026

CTET Application Window 2026 will soon be opened by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Once the Application Link is activated, candidates can follow the steps provided below to submit the application form:-

1. Go to the official CTET website.
2. On the homepage, open the Candidate Login area and click the Apply Online option to continue.
3. Fill out the online application form carefully and save your Registration/Application number for later.
4. Upload recent scanned copies of your passport-style photograph and your signature.
5. Pay the application fee via debit/credit card or through net banking.
6. After successful submission, download or print the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.
