The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the CISF AC LDCE Notification 2024 on 29 November 2023 on its official website ( A total of 20 tentative Assistant Commandant (Executive) posts have been announced by the commission for the year 2024 recruitment. As per the UPSC Exam Notification 2024, the online application for the AC Executive examination can be submitted from 24 November to 19 December 2023 and the examination is scheduled for 10 March 2024.

UPSC CISF AC(EXE) Recruitment 2024

The CISF AC (Executive) LDCE 2024 is a departmental examination administered annually by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to CISF personnel who are already in service (for 04 years). The selection process of CISF LDCE includes the following 3 stages

  • Stage-I Written examination
  • Stage-II Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Test
  • Stage-III Interview.

CISF AC(EXE) Eligibility 2024

Candidates who wish to apply for the UPSC CISF AC (EXE) LDCE examination must meet the eligibility criteria established by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), such as nationality, educational qualification, work experience, and so on.

CISF AC Nationality

The candidate (male and female) must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for this position.

CISF AC Age Limit

Candidates must be under the age of 35 on 01 August 2024 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02nd August 1989. However, if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, the upper age limit may be relaxed by up to five years.

CISF AC Educational Qualification

To apply for the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE examination, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university.

  • Desirable Qualifications: An NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificate will be a desirable qualification, which will only be considered during the interview/personality test.

CISF AC Service Requirements

The candidate must have completed four years (04) of regular service in the rank of Sub Inspector (GD) or Inspector (GD), including basic training, with a clean service record up until the offer of appointment is issued.

CISF AC Physical Standards

The minimum physical requirement for the candidates belonging to all categories is as follows:





  • 165 cms (Gen &  SC)  
  • 162.5 cms ( ST)  
  • 157 Cms ( Gen & SC) 
  • 154 cms ( ST)

CISF AC (EXE) Recruitment 2024 - Apply Online

The CISF AC 2024 Application Form is now available on the UPSC's official website, To apply for the UPSC CISF AC 2024, follow the steps outlined below.

  • Visit the official UPSC website. (
  • First, register yourself by selecting the OTR (One Time Registration) option.
  • Enter your name (as it appears on your matriculation/secondary examination certificate), CISF Number, rank, and date of birth in the registration module.
  • After you've entered the security code, hit the submit button.
  • Enter your registration ID and password to access the portal.
  • Fill in all of your personal, educational, qualification, experience, and exam center information.
  • Check all of the information once more, then click the 'Save and Continue' button.
  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents, as well as a photograph and signature, in the format specified, and then click the 'Save and Submit' button.
  • Print the application form once it has been completed.

Submit the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Application Form 2024 in hard copy.

CISF AC (EXE) Selection Process 2024

The selection of the in-service candidates will be done on the 3 stage selection process by the Union Public Service Commission. All the three stages are briefly explained below:

  • Stage-I Written Examination (400 marks)

The Union Public Service Commission's written examination will consist of two papers. Paper-I will be of objective type having MCQs in it whereas Paper-II will be descriptive in nature.

  • Stage-II Physical Standard/Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying) &  Medical Examination (mandatory)

Medical Standards Test {consisting of Detailed Medical Examination & Review Medical Examination, if required}, will be conducted after the candidate is qualified in the PET/PST examination. The Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standard Tests will be overseen by the CISF.  These tests will be held at various locations to be announced following the results of the written examination.

  • Stage-IV Interview (200 marks)

The interview/personality test would be conducted by a Board of competent and unbiased individuals who would have a record of the candidates in front of them. To test the candidate's awareness and understanding, questions will be asked in his or her field as well as general interest.  In general, this will be an assessment of not only his/her mental capacity but also his/her social traits and character integrity.  The Board would evaluate the candidate broadly in the following areas:

Exam Pattern for CISF AC LDCE 2024  

If you're willing to appear for the UPSC CISF LDCE 2024, it's important to understand how the exam is structured. Exam patterns tell you things like how many questions there will be, how they will be graded, and the duration of the exam. Here's a simple breakdown of the complete CISF AC LDCE Exam Pattern for 2024, covering the Written Examination and PET.

Written Examination

  • Paper 1 will be of 300 marks having 150 questions.
  • Paper 1 will be of Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions) in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi. 
  • In Paper 2 candidates will have the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the Précis Writing and Comprehension Components will be in English only.

Paper II: Essay, Précis Writing and Comprehension 

This paper will assess candidates' ability to present their ideas on the given essay topic in a coherent, orderly, concise, understandable, and lucid manner using effective and grammatically correct language that is free of spelling errors.    Furthermore, candidates' ability to understand the given passages for précis-writing and comprehension, as well as their ability to summarize the précis passage and respond to the short-answered questions on the comprehension passage, will be tested. 

CISF AC(EXE) Admit Card 2024 

Candidates' e-Admission Cards will be uploaded to the UPSC website two weeks before the examination date and can be downloaded by eligible candidates from the website only.  The Commission will not issue paper Admission Certificates.

CISF AC(EXE) 2024 - Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)  

The Commission has established a time frame of 7 days (a week) from the next day of the Examination date to 6.00 p.m. on the seventh day for candidates to make representations to the Commission on the questions asked in the Examination Papers. Such representation must be submitted through the "Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)" only, which can be accessed at http://upsconline/nic/in/miscellaneous/QPRep/. No representations by email, post, hand, or any other means will be accepted, and the Commission will not engage in any correspondence with the candidates in this regard. After this 7-day period has passed, no representation will be accepted under any circumstances.

CISF AC(EXE) Result 2024 

The CISF AC Result  2024 will be published on the UPSC as well as the CISF websites after the examination has been conducted. The commission will release the results after  each stage of the recruitment process on its official website. Candidates can access their CISF AC Results by following the steps mentioned below. 

  • Visit the official website of the UPSC.
  • Click on the CISF AC EXE Result 2024 link given under the What’s New section on the homepage.
  • A Result PDF will appear on your screen.
  • Use Ctrl+F to look out for your roll number in the shortlisted candidate’s merit list.
  • Download and take a printout of the result PDF for future reference.


Candidates can apply for the CISF AC LDCE 2024 from 29 November to 19 December 2023 through the UPSC website.
