The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Notification today, i.e. 29 November 2023 on its official website (upsc.gov.in). A total of 20 tentative assistant Commandant posts have been announced by the commission for 2024. As per the UPSC Exam Notification 2024, candidates can apply for the examination apply till 19 December 2023 and the examination is scheduled for 10 March 2024. CISF AC(EXE) Recruitment 2024

A Limited Departmental Competitive Examination is held annually by the UPSC to select eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The selection process of CISF LDCE includes 3 stages - Stage-I Written examination, Stage-II Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Stage-III Interview.

The CISF AC EXE LDCE 2024 is a departmental examination administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to CISF personnel who are already in service. The purpose of the exam is to fill vacancies in the Assistant Commandant (Executive) ranks, allowing deserving in-service CISF personnel to move up in rank. 

CISF AC(EXE) Eligibility 2024

Candidates who wish to apply for the UPSC CISF AC (EXE) LDCE examination must meet the eligibility criteria such as nationality, educational qualification, work experience, etc. set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen, and both male and female candidates are eligible for this position.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be under the age of 35 on the 01st August, 2024 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02nd August, 1989. However, if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, the upper age limit may be relaxed by up to five years.
• Educational Qualification: To apply for the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE examination, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university.
• Desirable Qualifications: An NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificate will be a desirable qualification, which will only be considered during the interview/personality test.

• Service Requirements: The candidate must have completed four years (04) of regular service in the rank of Sub Inspector (GD) or Inspector (GD), including basic training, with a clean service record up until the offer of appointment is issued.
• Important: Candidates who are otherwise eligible shall be permitted three attempts to take the examination.

Application Process for CISF AC(EXE) Examination 2024

CISF AC 2024 Application Form is released on the official website of the UPSC, i.e. upsc.gov.in. Interested candidates will be able to apply online and must also submit a hard copy of their online application to the CISF authorities for further verification and onward transmission to the commission at the following address:

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the UPSC CISF AC 2024.

Step 1: One-time Registration (OTR)

• Visit the UPSC's official website. (www.upsc.gov.in)
• Under the 'Examinations' tab, select the 'Active Examinations' link.
• Select the 'Application for CISF-LDCE 2023' option.
• Click on the "Link" icon next to DAF.
• To register, click on the 'Login' button.
• In the registration module, enter your name (as it appears on your matriculation/secondary examination certificate), CISF Number, rank, and date of birth.
• Retype the email address.
• After entering the random number that appears on the screen, click the submit button.

Step 2: Filling out the Application Form

• Fill out the application form after logging in with your registration ID and password.
• Fill out the personal, educational, qualification, experience, and exam center information.
• Check all of the details again, then click the 'Save and Continue' button.

Step 3: Upload Documents

• Upload scanned copies of the candidate's photograph and signature in the format specified.
• Upload the required documents and then click the 'Save and Submit' button.
• When the application form is successfully submitted, a confirmation page appears on the screen.
• Print out the completed application form.

Step 4: Submit a hard copy of the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Application Form 2024.

• Candidates must submit a hard copy of their online application to the CISF authorities at the above-mentioned address by 05 January 2024.

Note: OTR is Mandatory to apply for this examination. If the applicant has not yet registered in the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, a link to which is already available on the Commission's website, he/she should do so before filling out the online application for the examination.
