Uttar Pradesh Pavilion will be displayed for the first time at the World Economic Forum meeting to be held in Davos (Switzerland) from 14 -20 January.
Objective of Uttar Pradesh Pavilion:
- Through the Uttar Pradesh Pavilion, people from all over the world will be able to get a glimpse of the industrial development and culture of this place.
- Efforts will be made to attract investors from all over the world to invest in Uttar Pradesh through the pavilion.
- One District-One Product (ODOP) will be presented in the Uttar Pradesh Pavilion.
World Economic Forum (Davos) Meeting:
- More than 1000 global CEOs, industry leaders, technology experts, heads of state and government will attend the Davos meeting of the World Economic Forum.
- Union Ministers Smriti Irani, Hardeep Singh Puri and Shri Ashwani Vaishnav will attend the World Economic Forum meeting on behalf of the Government of India.
- A delegation of the Uttar Pradesh government will also participate in the meeting.
- The Uttar Pradesh Government delegation includes Investment Promotion Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Development Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh and Secretary to the Chief Minister Amit Singh.
- The delegation of the Uttar Pradesh government will reach Davos on 14 January.
