The European men's golf team won the 2023 Ryder Cup, defeating their American opponents. The 44th Ryder Cup was played at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Guidonia, Rome, Italy.
The 12-member European team was led by the English golfer Luke Campbell Donald, while the American Golf team was led by Zachary Johnson. This was the 14th Ryder Cup title won by the European team. The United States of America team has won 27 Ryder Cup titles.
The 2025 Ryder Cup will be held in New York, the United States of America.

Ryder Cup is a biennial men's golf competition between Europe and the United States of America teams. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States compete in the Ryder Cup.
The cup has been named after English businessman Samuel Ryder, who donated the trophy.
The Ryder Cup started in 1927, and it was hosted by the United States.
Initially, it was held between the American team and Great Britain and Ireland. Later, in 1979, the Great Britain and Ireland team was expanded and renamed as the Europe team.
